mapping, analysing and assessing
multi-geohazard and disaster risk in a
complex environment.

Global and regional case studies,

covering several benchmarking and
best practices will be interactively
discussed. This networking program
addresses the importance of
understanding georisk, strengthening
risk governance and elevating disaster
preparedness. New, cutting-edge
mapping technology (UAV, Terrestrial
laser scanning, LiDAR, GNSS, Remote
Sensing) coupling with BigData
Analytics, early-warning system,
monitoring system and predictive
modelling will be shared. Advanced
earth observation and geospatial
data are highly in demand for disaster
mitigation, prevention, risk assessment
and reduction strategies in a
changing climate.

Program promotes an intelligent,
integrated and transdisciplinary
approach for reducing disaster risk, as
in line with the Sendai Framework for
Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 and
national policies.
