What have you done to integrate the characteristics of 21st century teachers into

your instruction? Elaborate the reasons why the efforts you have done are
essentially integrated.
I have been trying to utilize the technology effectively to integrate the characteristics of 21st century teachers. In our
school, I can say all students have smartphone and it's facilitated with wi-fi. But, the problem is most students are
addicted to playing games so another effort for me is not only the usage of technology but how I can make the learning
process more interesting than playing games.

Therefore, I have been using the LCD / TV to display the material in form of PowerPoint presentation or attractive videos
as learning media. By doing so, I hope it will get students' attention and it will motivate them to be active learners. Then,
based on the material I've displayed, I will ask some questions to stimulate the students to discuss about the lesson and the
objectives of learning it..

Furthermore, in learning process I allow the students to access the internet to find the meaning of difficult words on
Google Translate. I also create some questions on websites, namely e-learning and google classroom (GAFE) for the test.
And for attracting students' interest I can create quizzes on Kahoot.It

I hope this effort is essentially integrated in order to support me to become a facilitator for my students in designing a
creative learning. :)

How do you assess the development of your students' 21st century life skills in
your instruction? Explain and provide examples.
I do several kinds of evaluation to know my students' progress in my instruction.

For example, I apply authentic assessment by determining assessment rubric for reading and speaking assignment or
performing a short conversation. As for assessing my students' development and ability in writing, I adjust the
traditional portfolio assessment. Especially when the students are required to write a simple descriptive text or recount
text.

The assessment that I usually adjust to get more information about my students' knowledge and skill in my instruction
is traditional assessment. I create some kind of multiple choice tests or worksheets based on the material and the
students do the exercise.
