GRADING

1) HW's – Project (s) 30 %

Midterm............................. 30 %
Final................................... 40 %

2) There will be about 6 HW assignments.

All HWs must be delivered on the due date. The solutions to the HWs will be posted
on the website soon after the class on the due date. Only a selected number of the
HWs will be corrected and the grade will be established by extrapolation. Due dates
of HWs will be strictly enforced.

Please NOTE:

1. All communication related to this course will be through HuskyCT. Please visit it
frequently.
2. Class attendance is strongly advised but not compulsory.
3. You will need a close affinity with simulation and modeling software (MATLAB and
SIMULINK) as well as symbolic manipulation packages (such as MAPLE or others
you may have). They are available in the ENG II network. You can also purchase
the student versions of the software which will be sufficient for this course.

HAVE A GREAT SEMESTER !!!
