NURSING PRODUCTS WITH FORCE PRIVATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL 2016 INDONESIAN MUSLIM UNIVERSITY

ABSTRACT
Background : Leucorrhoea or in medical terms is called fluor albus (fluorine = thick
liquid, albus = white) or leukorhoe in general is the discharge of a thick liquid from the vagina that can feel itchy, hot or sore, sometimes smell or even feel nothing. According to the 2015 World Health Organization (WHO) study, about 75% of women in the world will experience vaginal discharge at least once in their lifetime, and as many as 45% will experience twice or more, while European women who experience vaginal discharge by 25%. In Indonesia, the number of women who experience vaginal discharge is very large, 75% of Indonesian women have experienced vaginal discharge at least once in their lives. Because of the lack of adolescent knowledge about leucorrhoea both in terms of knowledge about prevention or about treatment carried out when experiencing vaginal discharge, so did my background to conduct this research. Methodes : Analysis using the Mann Whitney Test. Results : The level of knowledge of nursing and midwifery study students related to vaginal discharge (Flour albus) is good. There is no difference in the level of knowledge about prevention of vaginal discharge between students of nursing study programs and midwifery study program students with the same average score of 6.15. There is no difference in the level of knowledge regarding the handling of vaginal discharge between students of nursing study programs and midwifery study students with an average score that is not much different, namely 4.09 and 4.42 respectively, with 0.33 which does not provide a significant difference. Conclusion : From this study, it was found that there was no difference in the level of knowledge between students of the nursing study program and midwifery study program (Flour albus) class of 2016 Universitas Muslim Indonesia
