served by Monk’s original owners (they’re on the floor!)

Temescal Beer Dinner – Mon Feb 4

A six-course beer dinner with Oakland’s Temescal Brewing featuring a


range of beers with food courses designed to highlight them. Brewery
owner Sam Gilbert and Head Brewer Mike Makris will be on-hand to discuss
Temescal’s mission and each of the beers. Executive Chef Bridget Austria has
written a menu designed to complement and highlight the flavors of
each individual beer. $90/ticket (plus tax/gratuity). Doors at 5:45, first
course served at 6:30.
