Essential Questions: What provocative questions will foster inquiry, understanding and spark more questions? What questions will help students develop
and deeper their understanding?
1. How do we ask about location of buildings, offices and items in a school campus?
2. How do I tell people how I am feeling?
ASSESSMENTS
List the assessments that will be used to gauge student learning. This may include traditional quizzes or exams, as well as major learning activities such
as simulations, labs, etc.
1) Speaking Assessment. - During the presentation, the teacher will ask questions to several students to make sure they understand,
Teacher will pay attention to students’ responses. Students are given two questions on the board.
2) Writing Assessment – Direct students to work with a partner and ask and answer questions about differences in schools between Mexico and
United States.
3) Multiple Choice Comprehensive Exam- Students will take a multiple-choice exam that will incorporate vocabulary, grammar, and a short reading
comprehension section.
