Nelson Mandela:
Nelson Mandela was born on 18 July 1918 in Mavizo, South Africa. He
was a national leader and a fighter for ending apartheid in South
Africa. For 20 years he has led peaceful activities aimed at countering
the government's repressive policies, but when he realized the failure of
those activities, the military junta was adopted as the only way to
achieve its goals. Mandela was arrested for 27 years, and when he was
released, he took over as the country's first black president. He was
awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with William de Klerk in 1994.
He died at the age of ninety-five years.

of Blacks in the United States, like Martin Luther King, is much like
Mandela's biography and anti-apartheid activities.
Nelson Mandela was affected by his values and thinking. From his
values and attitude that I believe he has is Love, Forgiveness, Honesty,
self-control and Acceptance. From Mandala’s words about values that
values sustain any walk to freedom and values corporate us to continue
and walk. I believe that public loves Mandela and support him because
of his personality and the people what to live in peace and without
differentiate. And what I felt that he has that thing that help the people
especially the black people from the differentiation and let them to live
in their countries in peace and freedom, without any injustice and
torture. That what the public and the government needed a principle
that must have Nelson Mandela’s values and attitude.
Nelson Mandela fought for the equality of white and black and that
there is no racist not only in his own country but in the world. For
example: Mandela began his political career in 1942 when he joined the
ANC and began his opposition to the policy of racial discrimination.
During his visit to the country, Mandela was incited to resist racial
discrimination. The authorities suspended his sentence and prevented

him from leaving Johannesburg for six months. He joined his party in
1950 in a communist suppression strike.
