HIS KINGDOM SHALL NEVER END Luke 1:33

The Kingdom of God is the heart of Christ’s message in the NT.

It occurs over 147 times in the New Testament.

The Kingdom in Heaven; Kingdom on Earth – REIGN not REALM. Its about God whose reign at a

Luke 17:20-21 Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The
kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for
behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” ESV

Matthew 6:9 Thy Kingdom come! Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Great Kingdoms have come and gone – Babylon (Iraq), Persia ( Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain,
Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey), Greece, Roman and Assyria,
Medes
Daniel 2:44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be
destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms
and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever.
Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole
heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be an everlasting
kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.’
Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests."

1. Hope for eternal life through faith in Christ

 In addition to the good life on this earth, the Kingdom dwellers are by faith destined to enter
into eternal joy and all goodness with the “King” at His second coming.
 This gives us hope and confidence that whatever, come what may, we are more than
conquerors.

2. Salvation

 The gift of Salvation is the entry point of every Christian into the Kingdom of God. (Matthew
19:16, 23-24)
 Through salvation you receive righteousness: the basis for good life and all blessings in life
 You are justified
 Candidacy to inherit his kingdom at his second coming
 You also receive sonship to become a child of God
 You exist and live in GRACE, your life is not by chance, neither by luck, but by grace which is
operationalised with faith and practicalised with good works

3. Empowerment/ enablement (HSp)

 The holy spirit comes to establish the church. The beginning of Christ Kingdom on earth is
the coming of Holy Spirit. He comes to empower us to live and walk in this great salvation
fruitfully.
 The HSP in us makes us compatible with all the goodness in His salvation.
 He works in us in order for us to work in Him and for Him.
 This is not just a one-time empowerment as in the Old Testament but a continuous
strengthening process enhanced with sanctification.
 You are the product of His salvation, and a citizen of the eternal kingdom of Christ which is
dateless and everlasting.
Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and
peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
4. Healing of all forms

 In the kingdom there is healing of all forms – healing from sickness of the body, sickness of
the mind, emotions, hopelessness, unstable righteous living, oppression, poverty, delayed
marriage and child bearing, disappointments, stagnation, lack of support, lack of love from
family members, trauma and phobias and all forms of negativities of life.

 Citizens, in fact royals of this great kingdom merit the healing provision of Christ who is the
founder, governor and everlasting king of this Kingdom.

 Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on
earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
