Cyber Crime Prevention Act: A comparative study between the Cyber Crime Prevention act of
2012 and the Cyber Crime Laws of the U.S.A.
-The study will focus on the differences between the Cyber Crime Prevention act
of 2012 and the Cyber Crime Laws of the U.S.A. It will also include certain laws
needed in the Philippines that are not present within the country.
2. Data Privacy Act: An act requiring of an update
-The study will focus on the Data Privacy act of 2012 and how far behind are we
in terms of information protection. In order to resolve such an issue, the study
will also involve the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU.
3. Smoking Ban: E.O. 26, a shortened version of R.A. 9211.
-The study will be a comparative analysis between E.O. 26 (PROVIDING FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENTS IN PUBLIC AND ENCLOSED
PLACES) and R.A. 9211 (AN ACT REGULATING THE PACKAGING, USE, SALE,
DISTRIBUTION AND ADVERTISEMENTS OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES) specifically “smoke free” data and laws. The study will tackle
the differences, similarities and effectivity between the two laws. Statistical
data that would include smoker population, violations involving cigarettes and
smoking areas built shall determine the effectivity.
