To: Patrick J. O’Connor, Esq., Chair, Temple University Board of Trustees – Plus Trustees
Re: Marc Lamont Hill, Ph.D. [D.O.B. 12/17/1978]

Previously documented is the fact that he has violated his contractual obligations by inter alia failing to
represent a culture of which Temple University could/should be proud, including unprovoked vulgarity;
fomenting violence remains the driving-force of these letters, a phenomenon that has become even more
intense following the U.N. speech—were that to be possible—than had been manifest over the years.

Exposed, also, is how he has uniquely expanded his intersectionality exhortations beyond conveying a
“you scratch my back, I’ll scratch your back mentality,” claiming that multiple demographics are now
victimized both in America and globally; adopting rhetoric and demagoguery that blossomed in America
a half-century ago, he is manifesting an anarchic, Jew-hating mentality in what he calls a “rape culture.”

That he corrupts the memory of MLK-Jr. was manifest when he conjured King’s having pushed radicalism
(based upon some sort of gender politics because, allegedly, King had been guided by female colleagues)
that is antithetical to King’s socio-political impact and undocumented by anything King had said/written.
THIS IS HARDLY THE TYPE OF “EDUCATOR” WHO SHOULD EVEN A MODICUM OF STUDENT CONTACT!
His brand of historical revisionism is born of core-hatred, easily conveyed to young impressionable minds.

In addition to claiming MLK-Jr. preached “Radical Theology” absent any documentation for this assertion
(while invoking every vacuous SDS-cheer that was minted on college campuses during the 1960’s)
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NulsIOPTHSU], he has advocated “Blackness” at Wesleyan College
[https://www.eventbrite.com/e/black-history-month-celebration-dinner-with-dr-marc-lamont-hill-
tickets-54534636566?aff=ebdssbdestsearch] and prison-abolition by seeking nebulous restorative justice
[https://www.radioproject.org/2019/01/future-abolition-marc-lamont-hill-michelle-alexander-vonya-
quarles/]. Throughout, he advocated wresting control of the conversational agenda from conservatives
(discussed approximately half-way through the podcast while attacking SCOTUS-nominee Kavanaugh,
prior to another “intersectional” speaker who equated mass-incarceration with mass-deportation).

Again noted are two published essays I coauthored that explored how he hides behind speech-freedom
[https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/12/temple_u_hides_behind_constitution_to_defend_an
tisemitic_marc_lamont_hill_comments.html] and tenure-claims [https://www.jns.org/opinion/memo-
to-anarchist-hill-tenure-does-not-prevent-temple-university-from-firing-you/] as he continually attempts
to undermine American law-and-order and promulgate violence against Israel, all the while prompting
liberals to swallow Islamic slavery and gay-bashing. These are thematic within another coauthored essay
“The post-intersectionality Democratic Party” which, candidly, this Temple experience had provoked
[https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/01/the_postintersectionality_democratic_party.html];
noted is the fact that, days later, this essay has received (unprovoked, front-page) “viral” dissemination
[https://qwiket.com/context/channel/qwiket/topic/the-post-intersectionality-democratic-party].

Unapologetic throughout, he has resolutely failed to retract ANY of his pro-violence rhetoric.

How this behavior has been incompletely chronicled during the past two months in The Temple News has
been encompassed herein, both in real-time and in summary-form; what is particularly unnerving is the
absence of any effort to correct numerous overt-errors in the “long form” exposition that purportedly
provided background regarding the Middle East history felt to be relevant to the “Free Palestine” demand.
The only way to attain this goal—wiping “Israel” off of the map, as is the intent of Islamists everywhere—
would be to seek/achieve a violent overthrow of the Israeli government that was re-established in 1948;
here, that this “minor fact” is left unstated illustrates the heinous nature of his evil educational impact.

Illustrative of its problematic journalistic integrity is its current “Breaking News” articles [https://temple-
news.com/category/news/breaking-news/]; recalling today’s date [12/7/2019], it is disappointing that
the two relevant articles are chronologically remote: “Hundreds sign national letter condemning Temple,
CNN reaction following Marc Lamont Hill’s UN speech” [12/3/2018 - https://temple-news.com/hundreds-
sign-letter-condemning-temple-cnn-reaction-following-marc-lamont-hills-united-nations-speech/] and
“Temple administration, advocacy groups react to Marc Lamont Hill’s controversial UN comments”
[11/30/2018 - https://temple-news.com/cnn-drops-temple-professor-marc-lamont-hill-for-pro-palestine
-u-n-speech/]. Despite awareness that a staffer had conducted interviews regarding the potential import
of this controversy on Temple’s $-raising capacity, it seems reporting this facet of the conflict wasn’t
deemed newsworthy, even as fiscal-pressure is apparently prompting the Board to sell two major
healthcare institutions (Fox Chase Cancer Center and Jeanes Hospital) to the Thomas Jefferson University.

That the Trustees are also grappling with the intent to build a stadium—recalling abandonment of the
structure that had been located across from Cedarbrook Mall—also illustrates the presumed turmoil that
prompts people to try to ignore the destructive nature of how he projects the Temple University image
(which still is recovering from the ignominious Bill Cosby trial). Were Jews doing anything comparable
regarding either African-Americans or Palestinian-Arabs, the agitation would become a media-fixture;
indeed, it’s prejudicial to Jewry for the Trustees to remain inert, having ignored so much obvious data.

Instead, yesterday, another iteration of the blame-game/victimization-culture was disseminated, as a

member of the Black Student Union’s executive board wrote of alleged modern-day racism and injustice:
“Black people are the makers of modern-day America. So why are we still enslaved?” [2/7/2019 -
https://temple-news.com/black-people-are-the-makers-of-modern-day-america-so-why-are-we-still-
enslaved/]. Better a (counterbalancing) article would be worthy of publication, such as one that notes that
intimidating one’s political opponents only because one disagrees with the outcome of the last election
is a disgrace and a serious offense to the democratic process: “King would support the young Deplorables”
[https://www.wsj.com/articles/king-would-support-the-young-deplorables-11548875869?mod=?mod
=itp_wsj&ru=yahoo&mod=djemITP_h]. Note Hill’s fellow-travelers are infesting campuses with his brand
of Jew-hatred, shrouded within the context of anti-Zionism: “Sarsour Invite Rattles Jewish UNC Students”
[https://www.theisraelproject.org/the_daily_tip_sarsour_invite_rattles_jewish_unc_students?utm_cam
paign=dt_02_01_2019&utm_medium=email&utm_source=tip] and “Bucknell University Will Host Anti-
Semite Who Called Jews ‘Sleazy Thieves’ ” [https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2019/02/05/bucknell-
university-will-host-anti-semite-who-called-jews-sleazy-thieves/]. Yet, Temple transcended such sleazy
speech-/academic-freedom by harboring an in-house ignorant Jew-hating, vile, racist, anarchist. Indeed,
far from being nurtured, his association with Temple constitutes a corruption of these admirable goals.

The prior twelve communications exhaustively demonstrated that Hill should be fired and Dean
Boardman’s status should be reassessed because — under presumed oversight by his administrator —
Hill violated the four criteria defining expected conduct in the Faculty Handbook and Hill satisfied the four
legal exceptions that preclude him from any “speech/academic-freedom” defense; he fomented violence
due to moral-turpitude (and being vile, notwithstanding his alleged status as a communications/media
academic maven). These letters have been reorganized by deleting redundancies (e.g., congealing the two
op-eds and re-dating to match when distributed); they serve as a basis for your in-depth analysis:

The initial (12/6/2018) letter showed his anti-Jew, racist-anarchist rhetoric contravened the basic norms
[https://tinyurl.com/y6uer8u8, with Exhibit 3 [https://tinyurl.com/yb4ena7m].

The second (12/9/2018) letter expounded on the local/national implications of these profound concerns
[https://tinyurl.com/yc8bkrlu].

The third (12/12/2018) letter annotated deficiencies in your Statement [https://tinyurl.com/y9vf7g2h].

The fourth (12/13/2018) letter [https://tinyurl.com/ybqvd8cs] equated anti-Zionism and anti-Jew.

The fifth (12/14/2018) letter noted that his defenders remain mute rather than attempt to rationalize his
claims that “New York City police who are killing Blacks are being trained by Israelis” (undocumented)
and “Israel Poisoned Palestinian Water” (undocumented) and “police and prisons should be abolished”
(anarchic and violation of American rule-of-law) [https://thegrio.com/2018/12/15/marc-lamont-hill-on-
the-breakfast-club-speaks-about-getting-fired-from-cnn-i-dont-wish-any-harm-for-jewish-people/]
[https://tinyurl.com/yc7uahyk].

The sixth (12/15/2018) letter documented his advocacy for anarchism [https://tinyurl.com/ybhlo5or];

The seventh (12/16/2018) letter revealed he is an incorrigible ideologue, unapologetically defining a

career attacking “Afro-Palestinian” oppression as a result of global colonialism born perhaps of his
adherence to Jew-hater Farrakhan [https://tinyurl.com/ydbyk4np].

The eighth (1/3/2019) summarized data accrued during the past month, including two op-eds composed
by myself [https://tinyurl.com/ycxlubk3].

The ninth (1/15/2019) elucidated why “Temple Is Actually Protecting Professor Hill,” cited an essay by
Caroline Glick regarding the latest incarnations of gross anti-Israel rhetoric that prominently quoted Hill
(linked with intersectionality), noted how he (and others of his ilk) shouldn’t escape critique for being
supportive of Farrakhan, and cited extensive condemnatory observations by his students regarding his
blithe attention to his teaching responsibilities [https://tinyurl.com/y7ba65ga].

The tenth (1/29/2019) updated his MLK-Jr. themed speeches replete with Ebonics and vulgarity;
emphasized was a novel reinterpretation of activism, claiming it must come from an individual’s core if
it is to be more than transactional. This latter point represents a new twist on what he advocates, for it’s
no longer “I’ll support your cause (say, ‘women’s rights’ or ‘BLM’) if you support my cause (say, ‘no
borders’ or ‘BDS’); rather, people must now buy into the bases for each set of goals, no matter their
illogic, falsity or lack of linkage with any other potential agenda-item. Additional articles were cited,
both c/o Temple News and multiple authors who evaded focusing upon the gravamen of these letters, to
wit, his having violated his contract when inter alia fomenting violence [https://tinyurl.com/y8xebjwd].

3
The eleventh (1/30/2019) was comprised of four articles that explored the appropriateness of firing
professors for what they say/do under the aegis of speech-freedom; fomenting-violence is an absolute
justification for firing, whereas the alleged promulgation of racism is worthy of receiving scrutiny
(affording the individual a growth-opportunity) [https://tinyurl.com/ya963atu].

The twelfth (1/31/2019) was provided to illustrate the difference between documented enlightenment
regarding MLK-Jr. and the fanciful portrayal that MLH has disseminated as a "scholar" of whom Temple
University should feel proud? [https://tinyurl.com/yb2nkkf6].

TEMPLE HAS ONLY ADDRESSED HIS ANTI-ISRAEL QUOTATIONS IN ITS PRIOR “CONDEMNATION” LETTER;
TEMPLE HAS YET TO ADDRESS THE OTHER FACETS OF HIS [MIS-]CONDUCT DETAILED IN THESE MEMOS,
ENCOMPASSING THE CONTRACT-VIOLATIONS, THE INABILITY TO CLAIM ACADEMIC-/SPEECH-FREEDOM,
THE MORAL TURPITUDE [FOMENTING VIOLENCE AND LEADING VILE CHANTS THAT CURSED-OUT CNN],
AND THE OTHER FACETS OF HIS RHETORIC [E.G., AGAINST RULE-OF-LAW, POLICE, PRISONS] THAT HAVE
REFLECTED ADVERSELY UPON TEMPLE [BOTH WITHIN THE ACADEMIC AND LAY COMMUNITIES].
