» Mountain bike riding

Mike was born in London and grew up on the south coast of England in a sailing family
where he spent valuable young years learning to love the ocean and the great outdoors.
Adventures started small, cruising the busy Solent and taking part in world famous events
like Cowes Week and Round the Island races. He then conquered the English Channel,
home to some of the most densely populated shipping lanes in the world and embarked
on multiple challenging yet successful passages across the notorious Bay of Biscay where
he battled 60 mile/hour storms, currents of 9 knots, 10-meter tides and 5-meter ground
swells. One of his greatest accomplishments was crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a 40ft
sailing yacht with nothing but instructions from his Grandfather to “head South and turn
right when the butter melts”. Mike has now sailed all over the world and successfully
navigated a 12 year professional yachting career and now have joined LADY SHERIDAN.
When he’s not on the ocean, Mike loves the mountains and can be found skiing, hiking
and mountain bike riding.
