Key:
• black values are the most important;
• blue values are second important;
• green values are third important;
• red values are usually not available. If available, they can be indicated.
Notes:
If it is impossible to measure the TSS, turbidity becomes one of the most important
values and, if it is impossible to measure the TDS, the electrical conductivity becomes one
of the most important values.
In general, the more data are available, the better - even if they are not mentioned (e.g.
DOC, BOD5, hardness, alkalinity, TKN, TP, etc.).
If some among the components below are present, they have to be highlighted:
• other heavy metals (e.g. chromium);
• fats, oils & greases (FOGs);
• total hydrocarbons;
• other oxidative compounds (e.g. permanganate, ozone, etc.);
• bacterial count (any type).
