ABSTRACT

This research was conducted to investigate the relationship between occupational stress
and coping strategies among J.Q.TYRE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY AT
COIMBATORE. This paper aims to find out the relationship between occupational stress and
coping strategies based on age, gender, marital status, work experience and income of
J.Q.TYRE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY AT COIMBATORE. The industry was invited
to participate in the questionnaire survey. A cross sectional study was used to examine the
relationship between occupational stress and coping strategies. Descriptive analysis, Pearson
correlation and multiple regression analysis were employed to analyze the data. The findings also
revealed that there is a significant relationship between occupational stress and coping strategies.
