Greetings in Jesus’ name!

The United Methodist Youth of Ilocos South District envisions to be Ministry Excelling, Goal
Achieving Youth Engaged in Mission, Academics and Service (MEGA YEMAS). To achieve this
vision, regular fellowships are essential.

In this regard, we will hold the Agape Fellowship 2019 with a twist. Instead of the usual district
wide gathering, there will be a two (2) Saturdays – February 9 and 16, where we will be going to
a certain barangay to help and assist in the following activities:

 Medical Mission headed by Dra. Blessing Prado

 Ministry thru Prayer
 Gift giving to Senior Citizens
 Youth Engagement
 Children’s Ministry thru Bible Study and Learning New Songs
 Outreach Program

Please refer to the attached Implementing Guidelines for more information.

In this regard, we seek your support through your gift of presence, by leading the pray over and
by providing insights during the Orientation and on the Closing Devotion.

For the expenses for the gifts/goods to be given during the activity, it was approved during our
District Youth Council Meeting that the UMYF Organization of our Local Churches shall be giving
their share of 300.00 pesos or 600.00 pesos according to the organization’s financial status that
was reported last DYC and DYCM. Here is the list of the churches with the corresponding share:

7:30 – 8:30 am Registration @ Baranggay Hall

District Fund: 25.00
Refreshments: 25.00
*The district shall provide nametags for the delegates, workers, and visitors.

8:30 – 9:00 am Orientation

The Executive Committee member shall give an overview why we are doing this and shall also
group the delegates accordingly.

9:00 – 12:00 nn Ako ay Kabahagi

Medical mission, pray over, teaching children, and outreach program shall be done
simultaneously.

12:00 – 1:00 pm Lunch (PACKED!!!)

1:00 – 2:30 pm Risk and Disaster Preparedness Awareness

2:30 – 3:00 pm Gift giving

3:00 – 3:30 pm Group Dynamics/Games & Meryenda

3:30 – 4:00 pm Closing Devotion

Theme: Ako ay Kabahagi

Biblical Texts: Matthew 25: 31– 46, Romans 5: 8

RATIONALE:
The mentioned texts indicate that the Risen Lord calls all who believes in Him to serve the least,
the last and the lost. The motivation is love, agape, which is sacrificial, made manifest by Jesus
Christ through His birth, death and resurrection. It is the life of Christ that allows us to do so.
We love because He first loved us.
