A: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. We welcome all of you, this glamourous
Tuesday night to the search for Mr. and Ms. Law 2018.

Tonight we will witness the candidates from the different year levels showcase not only
their incredible physiques and unparallelled beauty but also their outstanding talents
and exceptional intelligence.

They are out to prove that law students, especially those in the University of the
Cordilleras, are not only physically attractive, they are also brilliant and dedicated to
becoming inspiring and noble stewards of the law.

S: Yes, Allan. Beauty pageants are now redefined. It’s no longer about vital statistics,
it’s no longer about the complexion, it’s no longer about height. Now, it’s all about
beauty with a purpose. That’s why, tonight let us all sit back, relax, and prepare to be
captivated with our candidates’ personalities, substance, and overflowing confidence.

A: We are in for an for an intense competition tonight Sushen, all for the glory of being
crowned Mr. and Ms. Law of the Law Week 2018 and bringing home the titles to their
respective Teams.

S: And so, without further ado, it is our honor and privilege to introduce the 12
stunning ladies and remarkable men of the 2018 Mr. And Ms. Law Pageant
accompanied by __________________________ (intermission performers).

A: The candidates look absolutely captivating! Don’t you agree? So, who do you think
had the best dance moves? Maybe we can ask the audience, ladies and gentlemen, who
gave the best performance?

That’s exactly the kind of energy our candidates need this evening to release their
tension, so please keep cheering and keep screaming for your candidates.

S: At this point, to help us decide who will win this evening, we are now going to
introduce the esteemed panel of judges.

Introduction of Judges

A: While the candidates prepare for the talent portion, let us first welcome to the stage

A: Now we’re on to the first round of competition, the talent portion. The talent portion
is meant to highlight the amazing abilities and skills of our candidates, aside of course
from their natural aptitude for reading and understanding the law.

S: Let us start with candidate number 1!

Talent Portion
What an amazing array of talents! We are truly blessed to have in our presence aspiring
lawyers who excel in various fields, not just the study of law.

From one portion of the contest to another, we now move on to another highlight of
this competition, the evening gown ( evening wear? Men) competition.

In this round, it is not just the gown or the tuxedo that is judged. It is candidate herself
or himself.

S: Now we will witness our candidates take the stage with grace, elegance, and beyond
beautiful charm.

Let’s start with Team 1 - Wicked’s candidates….

Gown - They will give us information sheets and we have to read the description of the
candidate as they strut down the runway (lol)

There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the candidates of the Mr. And Ms. Law 2018 in
their evening wear, let us give them a warm round of applause.

A: At this juncture, we will now begin presenting the 1st set of minor awards

Minor Awards (1st Set)

Mr. And Ms. Congeniality

Our first minor award goes to the candidate who has been the kindest and friendliest as
determined by their fellow competitors.
The Award for Mr./Ms. Congeniality goes to-

Mr. And Ms. Photogenic

The next minor award is Mr. And Ms. Photogenic, to be awarded to the candidate
whose physical attractiveness and aesthetic beauty in the photographs, outshine the
others.
The Award goes to

Mr. And Ms. Darling of the Crowd

The next minor award is Mr. And Ms. Darling of the crowd, to be awarded to the
candidate, who appears to be the clear favorite of the audience.

A: At this juncture, we’re now going to the question and answer portion. At this stage,
we assess the strength of our candidate’s minds and their ability to think on their feet.

The topic for tonight’s Q and A portion focuses on the issue of changing the current
government system to Federalism, a highly contentious and complicated subject,/ but
its nothing that the candidates cannot handle.

They are not only beautiful and handsome, they also have the wit and confidence to
inspire and educate everyone here tonight.

The candidates will pick the question from the fishbowl to be read by the hosts. The
candidate will have 30 seconds to answer the question.
