SEPRD Board of Directors: Interviews for vacant position

Sunset Empire Park & Recreation District will be interviewing the candidates that have
expressed interest for the vacant Board of Director position. The person selected by the
four remaining candidates will serve until June 30, 2019. At that point they would have
the option of running for re-election for a four-year term beginning July 1, 2019 and
concluding June 30, 2023.

Candidates that cannot attend at their scheduled time will have the opportunity to
phone in and participate or submit responses via email or mail to the questions below.

1. Why are you interested in serving as a SEPRD Board of Director?

2. What is your involv ement and familiarity with SEPRD activities and
programs?
3. What experience a nd background do you have in dealing with local
government bodies?
4. What are your desires and goals for service ( in regard to SEPRD
activities), were you to be s elected for the vacant position?
5. What is your 5-yea r vision for SEPRD?
6. Why do you t hink t hat you would be t he best choice to fill this role?
7. Other questions a s Board of Directors see fit.

It is anticipated that the selected Board of Director will be instated at the February
SEPRD Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 19 at 5:15pm
