Organization Culture Analysis
The Pran group’s Organizational Culture:
The Pran group’s organizational culture indicates the company’s commitment to maximizing the
strengths of its human resources. A company’s organizational culture defines the traditions,
values, and ways through which workers perform. In Pran group’s case, employees are
encouraged to focus on excellence in a collaborative way. As the biggest food-and-beverage
company in Bangladesh, Pran group continually strives to improve its workforce. It is essential
to maintain a high performance culture to sustain this market position. Pran group uses its
organizational culture as a strategic approach to optimize its performance by harnessing the
strengths of its people.

Pran group adjusts its organizational culture through the years. This aspect of the business
responds to changes in leadership as well as business situations. At present, the following are the
main characteristics of Pran group s organizational culture:

Norms:

➢ Pran group has strong organizational tree to maintain the proper and perfect chain of
command for smooth working operations. In this Company every employee is free to talk
and propose their opinion in an organized way. The company strictly maintains the “Code
of Contact” which is the main strength to operate and maintain the behavior and actions
of employee’s interaction.
➢ Pran group has the friendliest working environment in Bangladeshi organization culture.
Everyone is respected with appropriate one. There is no bossy environment in this
working place. The supervisor and supervisee relationship is more likely than friends or
mentor-disciple.

Beliefs:

➢ Pran Group believes in Democratic leadership. They communicate with all the employees
for taking decision.
➢ Employees believe that they are best resource of Pran group. Pran Group also gives
values to their employees’ creativity and innovation. They help their employee’s growth.
They give them proper training and development. They encourage employees to ask
questions and make suggestions that they think better.
➢ Employees believe that their culture begins with their four values that drive everything
they do: Integrity, Continuous Innovation, Involvement and Self-respect.

Principle:

➢ Pran Groups main principle is “Improving Livelihood”
