SUBJECT : SUBMISSION OF 2018 COOPERATIVE ANNUAL REPORTS

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 53 of RA 9520 (Philippine Cooperative

Code of 2008) and Rule 8 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations states that,

“Section 1. Every cooperative shall draw up regular reports of its

program of activities including those in pursuance of their socio-civic
undertakings, showing their progress and achievements at the end of every
fiscal year. X x x. These reports shall be filed with the Authority within one
hundred twenty (120) days from the end of calendar year. X x x. Failure to file
the required reports shall subject to accountable officer/s to fines and penalties
as may be prescribed by Authority, and shall be a ground for revocation of
authority of the cooperative to operate as such. The fiscal year of every
cooperative shall be calendar year, except as may be otherwise provided in the
by-laws”.

“Section 8. Failure to file the required regular reports with the

corresponding attachments on time shall subject the Accountable Officers to a
fine of One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) per day of delay’.

Therefore, all cooperatives are hereby enjoined to submit the 2018

ANNUAL REPORT with attachments to this Extension Office on or before APRIL
30, 2019. Subsequently, secure the mandatory CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
(COC) pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 2016-07.
