There are a total of 500 Digimon medals in the game. I've broken down the numbers of medals based on where you can obtain them, with the least
amount of property case medals, in the list below:
31 medals can be obtained from shiny objects on the ground across the story chapters.
21 medals are from urgent (red) cases as rewards or boss battle drops.
8 medals are from blue/yellow side cases as rewards or boss battle drops.
2 Digimon medals are unique to property cases (Agumon (Blk) and MetalGreymon (Blue)).
The medal tables will be sorted in the same manner the game has it listed, which is in Japanese alphabetical order. Even the English versions has it listed
in Japanese alphabetical order, I guess they didn't feel the need to sort the medals in English alphabetical order.
Case: Obtained from cases as a reward or as a drop from case related battles.
Gacha: Obtained from Gacha machines. For more info, click here.
Chapter #: Shiny objects you find in the ground throughout the specified chapter.
Victory Uchida (ビクトリー・ウチダ): Given as a gift from the Victory Uchida NPC for finding him. I also mention which chapter he appears at.
To check your Digimon medal progress, talk to the Medal Man (メダルおじさん) near the elevator in the 4th floor of Nakano Broadway.
These are optional green cases you get from assigning your Digimon to an investigation in the DigiFarm.
The cases you get depends on your DigiFarm teams, for more details visit the Property Cases section.
You can only get up to a maximum of eight green cases posted on the white board, you can't obtain more green cases if you reached this
limit.
Example: Agumon's Property (アグモンの落し物) is a case where you find Agumon's precious item.
This is a chain of cases where you fight the Royal Knights to unlock them and obtain their medals.
Great Challenge 8 only unlocks in chapter 20 and after clearing the 7th case.

Gacha Machines
Gacha machines are capsule toy vending machines, they are used to sell toys in capsules. In this game, however, Gacha machines give out Digimon medals
instead. I will be referring to them as Gacha for simplicity.
This table shows the location of each Gacha machine and how to get to it.
Nakano BW 1F Escalator 300 Yen Nakano Broadway first floor near the escalator. Chapter 2
Nakano BW 2F 1,000 Yen Nakano Broadway second floor in front of the card shop. Chapter 19
Nakano BW 3F 300 Yen Nakano Broadway third floor next to the stairs. Chapter 2
Shinjuku 300 Yen Before the subway entrance in Shinjuku (second map). Chapter 4
Shibuya 1 300 Yen Outside Shibuya Records store (second map). Chapter 4
Shibuya 2 300 Yen Inside Shibuya Records store (second map). Chapter 4
Akihabara 1 300 Yen The blue Gacha machine in Akihabara's upper main street, next to Sega store. Chapter 6
Akihabara 2 300 Yen The red Gacha machine in Akihabara's upper main street, next to the map exit. Chapter 6
Ueno 300 Yen Outside the digital shift in Ueno (second map). Chapter 15
There are 10 Gacha machines, each give out 30 unique Digimon medals for a total of 300 medals from these machines only. The other 200 medals are
obtained through other means. Which medal you get from a single Gacha machine is completely random.
Note: There are some typos in the English version of the game regarding medal names. Check the medal pictures on the Medal Man's medal list for proof of
these mistakes.
Grumblemon Medal from the Shibuya 2 gacha machine is shown as Magnamon Medal (only obtained from Great Challenge 1's boss battle).
Zhuqiaomon Medal from the Nakano BW 1F Escalator gacha machine is shown as Ebonwumon Medal, which is incorrect.
Ebonwumon Medal from the Nakano BW 3F gacha machine is shown as Zhuqiaomon Medal, which is incorrect.
Korikakumon Medal (No. 358 with ★★★★★ rarity) from the Akihabara 2 gacha machine is shown as WarGrowlmon Medal (even though there's
another WarGrowlmon Medal from that machine).
Goblimon Medal is shown as Goburimon Medal on the item list. When you first obtain it from the Ueno machine, it's named properly as Goblimon
Medal. Therefore, it's a typo.
Hookmon Medal is shown as Anubismon Medal on the item list. It's a typo because the description of the medal properly displays it as Hookmon.
JagerLoweemon Medal from the Nakano BW 2F machine is shown as Justimon Medal. It's a typo, since it shows JagerLoweemon's picture on the
medal after turning it in.
Here is the table listing the Gacha medals (each machine has its own column):

VICTORY UCHIDA LOCATIONS
Victory Uchida (ビクトリー・ウチダ) is an NPC that wears a strange yellow V-shaped hat (for victory I guess) and seems to like playing hide-and-seek with
you. Each time you find and speak with him, you get one or more free items. His rewards vary from equipment, DigiFarm items and Digimon medals. The
Demon Lords' medals he gives you are missable, the only way to obtain them are from Uchida or the DLC cases. If you're playing on any PSN account other
than a Japanese one, you won't have access to the DLC, this makes the Demon Lords' medals only obtainable from this NPC.
You can find this NPC across 14 chapters. You should always hunt him down at the beginning of each specified chapter, as he tends to disappear if you
progress the story a bit within the chapter. The first encounter with him is the only one where it's split between two chapters, giving you two chances to
talk to him.
Chapter 04/05: Shibuya, In front of Shibuya Records store. Available late chapter 04, early chapter 05. Receive Ninja USB (忍者のUSB).

DIGIMON ENCOUNTERS
In this section I will provide Digimon locations sorted by dungeons and the Exp/Yen/Item drops you get from them. Each Digimon only drops one item at a
time, either one or the other, but not both. Some Digimon may only have one item drop. Also note that not all Digimon drop their medals.
There are a total of 164 Digimon that can be encountered in dungeons, excluding bosses and case exclusive battles.
Having three BlackKingNumemon (ブラックキングヌメモン) each equipped with three Large Capacity USB (大容量のUSB) will immensely help hunting
items.
To calculate the EXP/Yen gain from battles, you can use the following formula:
Where "N" is the number of Tactician/Billionaire USBs or Gold/PlatinumNumemon and the "Digimon#" variables are the EXP/Yen each Digimon gives. If
you're only facing two Digimon, then you don't need to use the "Digimon3" and "Digimon4" variables.
If you use both an EXP/Yen increasing Digimon and USBs, the formula would change into the following:
The formula is similar to the first one, but the "Mons" variable is how many Gold/PlatinumNumemon are in the active party, while the "USBs" is the number
of Tactician/Billionaire USBs you have equipped.
As for the Yen gain in Hard mode, you have to calculate Yen gain first, then add 50% to it:
The "Result" variable above is what you get from applying the EXP/Yen formula.
The below examples assume you are fighting a battle with two Digimon that give 548 EXP each (applies to encounters in Digital Space 05):
Due to how math works, you can multiply either of the last two numbers first. You can also shorten the process to multiply by one number only:
1 PlatinumNumemon with 3 Tactician USBs: Add the EXP values, then multiply them by 8.
2 PlatinumNumemon with 6 Tactician USBs: Add the EXP values, then multiply them by 21.
3 PlatinumNumemon with 9 Tactician USBs: Add the EXP values, then multiply them by 40.
As for Yen, the example above can be used to calculate the result (with GoldNumemon/PrinceMamemon and Billionaire USBs instead). You just have to add
50% to it if you're playing on hard mode.
The EXP gain multiplication takes place the moment an opponent is knocked out. For example, you are facing two opponents and each of them give 1,000
EXP. You kill one of them while having one PlatinumNumemon with three Tactician USBs in your active party. Then you switch in two more
PlatinumNumemon with three Tactician USBs each, which makes you have three PlatinumNumemon and nine Tactician USBs. You would think from that
example, you will get 80,000 EXP. Since you had 3PNs + 9TUSBs at the end of the battle, which means (2 * 1,000) x 40 = 80,000 EXP. But this is wrong,
because you killed one opponent with only 1PN + 3TUSBs in the active party. So the correct calculation in this case would be more like this: (1,000 * 8) +
(1,000 * 40) = 48,000 EXP.
Note that not every Digimon in a battle will yield the same amount of EXP/Yen, so look for what each Digimon gives in the tables below to be able to
calculate the actual value with USBs attached.
SHOP LISTINGS
There are five shops in the game, excluding the limited time shop. Each of them will get new stock as you progress the story.
DigiLab Shop
This shop becomes available in chapter 1, it is located inside the DigiLab (デジラボ), examine the rightmost screen/monitor. The Miracle Meat (ミラクル
肉) in this shop only becomes available after you clear the game and view the ending (remember to save after the credits).
This shop becomes available half way through chapter 2. It is located in the middle of the EDEN Entrance (EDENエントランス) area.
Becomes available near the end of chapter 2. It is located in the first floor of Nakano Broadway, near the escalator. Lower level Attach equipment will be
removed from this store as you progress the story.
Shibuya Shop
This shop becomes available near the end of chapter 4. It is located in the second map of Shibuya, in front of the Shibuya Records music store. The non-DX
guard/barrier equipment will be removed from this store as you progress the story.
Akihabara Shop
This shop becomes available in chapter 6. It is located at the top left corner of the map.
This is a temporary shop that only appears in selected chapter dungeons to help you stock up necessary items. It appears in chapter 4 (Shinjuku Digital
Shift), chapter 6 (Akihabara Digital Shift), chapter 8 (Asakusa Digital Shift) and chapter 15 (Shinjuku Digital Shift). Akemi Suedou (末堂アケミ) opens his
shop in chapter 4 and 6. In chapter 8 and 15 however, a regular shop clerk will take Akemi Suedou's place. The shop itself will remain the same.
At first you will only have one farm island, but with items you can unlock more farm islands up to a maximum of five islands. Each farm starts at rank 1 (ラ
ンク1) with one farm goods slot, and can be upgraded to reach rank 5/MAX. With each rank up, you unlock one farm goods slot. At rank 5 you will have five
farm goods slots.
After you choose a farm, you will get the following choices:
Leisure Course (のんびりコース): 120 minutes to complete, slight stat gain and no CAM loss. Displayed in pink.
Normal Course (ノーマルコース): 60 minutes to complete, moderate stat gain and slight CAM loss. Displayed in orange.
Tough Course (スパルタコース): 30 minutes to complete, significant stat gain and significant CAM loss. Displayed in red.
The Develop command allows you to assign a farm and its Digimon to create items for you, and the Investigate command lets your Digimon discover new
cases for you. The grade of the items/cases you get depends on how many farm goods you have equipped in the farm.
The two farm goods essential to developments/investigations are:
Sleuth's Secret (探偵の極意): Used in investigation farms to get higher level cases.
The number of Builder or Searcher Digimon you have on a farm will reduce the time required to finish the task, this might affect the quality of the items too
(not confirmed).
One 95 minutes.
Two 65 minutes.
Three 50 minutes.
Four 40 minutes.
Five 35 minutes.
Six 30 minutes.
Seven/Eight 25 minutes.
Nine/Ten 20 minutes.
A Digimon's personality (個性) is displayed in the stats window above the EXP bar and to the right of CAM (友情).
The other two personality types are mainly for Development/Investigation purposes:
Builder (開発型): Influences DigiFarm item developments. Increases all stats during DigiFarm training by one point per increase (10 points for HP).
Searcher (調査型): Influences DigiFarm investigations. Increases all stats during DigiFarm training by one point per increase (10 points for HP).
A Digimon also gets a slight increase in the stat corresponding their personality. This increase is almost negligible, at level 99 it is most likely between 12-14
stat points, depending on how high is the stat itself. You will notice this boost immediately after changing a Digimon's personality.
Personalities are assigned randomly after you convert a Digimon. To change it you need to use the Patch (パッチ) items of the type you want. Patch items
are listed in the items table.
Training Courses
Training allows you to strengthen your Digimon's ability, increasing their stats. This boost depends on the personality (個性) of both your Digimon and the
farm leader. You can train each Digimon in two stats during the same training course, this is evident in the following example with Gabumon.
Let's say for example you place an Agumen that has Fighter personality as the farm leader. Then put a Gabumon with Nimble personality in the same farm.
In this case when you choose the training option, Gabumon's ATK and SPD stats will increase, while Agumon get ATK increases only. Agumon only gets stats
based on his personality because he is the farm leader, and his Fighter personality increases ATK.
Enhanced stats are displayed in brackets to the right of the regular stats. These stats have a limit that depends on the Digimon's ABI (short for ability) value.
The more ABI a Digimon has, the more enhanced stats they accumulate from training courses. The maximum enhanced stats gain for a Digimon with max
ABI is 100 stats, at zero ABI, however, a Digimon can only gain 50 enhanced stats. You can distribute these as you see fit through training. You can also
remove them with certain items.
The formula for calculating the max enhanced stats a Digimon can gain is as follows: (ABI / 2) + 50 = max stat value.
Note that the 50 displayed in the formula above is the max stats allowed at 0 ABI, which applies to all Digimon.
The ABI stat is displayed on the stat screen for each Digimon, it is located above EXP and left of CAM stat. It maxes at 100 and can be raised through
digivolution and de-digivolution. It can also increase through feeding the Digimon Miracle Meat. To maximize ABI gain, it is recommended to digivolve/de-
digivolve at the max attainable level. At level 99, you get approximately 12 ABI points when you digivolve and around 21–24 ABI points when you de-
digivolve.
Other than training, you can raise a Digimon's stats by feeding it specific items from the DigiFarm. The increases gained from these items are treated as
training bonus stats, meaning they share the gained stats with the stats you get from training. They also share the max amount of stats that can be given to
a single Digimon. The food items are as follows (I will only list failure rate if the item can bounces off the Digimon):
Miracle Meat (ミラクル肉) Increases CAM and ABI by 10-20% and 10-20 respectively.
Note that Digimeat is only obtainable and usable in the DigiFarm, it can't be seen from the items menu. It will restock on its own after a few
minutes.
Stat* Restraint Chip C: Reduces one point from one stat of your choice.
Stat* Restraint Chip B: Reduces ten points from one stat of your choice.
Stat* Restraint Chip A: Reduces all points from one stat of your choice.
Stat is substituted with the actual stat (i.e., ATK Restraint Chip C).
Item Development can be done through the Develop command in the farm, the time it takes to complete a development cycle depends how many Builder
personality Digimon are present in the farm. Having nine/ten Builder Digimon makes the process finish in 20 in-game minutes (not real time). I will list the
possible items you can get from the three Yen choices in item development. For best results, use a rank 5 farm island with five Developer Know-How farm
goods placed in it and ten Builder Digimon. It seems the higher the Digimon's digivolution level, the easier it is to get rare items.
Please note that currently in the English version, there is a graphical bug when receiving items from farms after a development cycle. Some items appear to
have a different icon than the icon intended for them, this have no effect on the development result.
