What this module is about?


This module, about the Machine Shorthand is an easy skill course. Be
sure to follow carefully all the instructions in this book plus the instructions of
your teacher. Learn proper keyboard techniques, and you will build Machine
Shorthand skills.

What you are expected to learn?


In this module, you are expected to:

1. Learn the New Keys (Initial G and Final G (-G) )


2. Discuss the word ending (-ING)
3. Learn the consonant compounds ( GL, GR and –GS)
4. Discuss the abbreviation
5. Learn the preview words
6. Discuss the sound of OU and OW
7. Observe typing standards in term of accuracy

How to learn from this Module?


Id like you to picture in your mind a Machine Shorthand keyboard on
the table. Don’t hesitate to try one strike! This is a simple machine which has
each stroke printed on the paper tape and the spaces are automatic as the
keys are depressed. Answer the activities and self-check exercises honestly.
And you will build a Machine Shorthand Skill.
