2.2 WOODEN FRAMEWORK


Providing and Installing a wooden framework of 50 x 50mm for dry partitions/
paneling made of seasoned Hardwood are required in a 450 x 450 mm
spacing center to center in horizontal & vertical direction both which is
secured to the floor and ceiling with HILTI anchors. The hardwood sections Sqm
should be free of knots and should be placed at 600 mm c/ c vertically and
braced every 1200 mm c/c horizontally.The preferred harwood sections wood
be salwood.The timber should be Termite, borer, fungus resistant.

2.3 SKINS
Supply and install plywood ( thin sheets of cross-laminated veneer and
bonded under heat and pressure with strong adhesives,excellent strength-to-
weight ratio) onto a base or a framework as described in the section above for
framework.The cost should include securing the panel onto the framework
with adhesive and screws and finishing the surface to take the next skin.

The Plywood boards shall have the following properties:


Plywood should made from the finest A+ grade timber
Plywood should have undergone preservative treatment, making it termite
and borer resistant.
Plywood should excellent strength-to-weight ratio
Plywood should have high dimensional stability and is warp free.
Plywood should be eco-friendly and emission free (emits less Formaldehyde
as per E1 Formaldehyde Emission level).

2.4 VENEER
Providing and installing fatory pressed venner panels using the HPLT
pressing technology. The cost should include veneer pressed onto a 3mm ply
base to be placed and secured onto an existing subsurface with pasting of
6mm Thick MDF Board. The cost should include finishing and polishing the
veneer in matt PUr as specified.

Bronze patination OR as Approved Sample with beveled edges pasted over
12mm thick ply for wall panelling. These panels shall be fixed with mirror-
compatible double sided adhesive tapes (3M make mirror tape) or with

2.8 WOODEN FINS WITH VENNER FINISH
Providing, making and installing of Vertical Wooden Fins fixing behind
reception back side / other decorative walls in curve / streight shape having
provision of lights made out of 12mm thick BWP ply with size of 50 x 100mm
with finish of fatory pressed venner panels using the HPLT pressing
technology fixed over wooden framework of dry partitions/ paneling over a
backing of 20mm BWP ply the cost should include veneer pressed onto a 3mm Rmt 480.00
ply base to be placed and secured onto an existing subsurface with pasting of
6mm Thick MDF Board. The cost should include finishing and polishing the
veneer in matt PUr as specified.

2.9 MOULDING
Providing and fixing crown moulding with grooves in hardwood of size as

detail drawings.

The main G.I. frame (50mm X 25mm X 24 guage) shall be at 750mm c/c and
intermediate frame ( 265mm x 19mm x 24 guage) shall be at 375mm c/c. The
main G.I. member to be hanged with help of G.I angle of (25mm x 25mm x 22
gauge) and additional M.S. flats 19mm x 3mm (Red oxide painted) and SS
dash fasteners including all necessary work required. Expanded metal mesh
(0.07 Kg/Sft) shall be firmly stretched and screwed to the intermediate frame

with G.I. washers and average 20 mm plaster of paris to be applied on in two
layers. Rate to include providing coves also. Surface measurement shall be

3.2 PELMET
P/F Window Pelmets made out of 19mm BWP Board in L - profile fixed to
RCC slab with dash fasteners/ adequate rough wood framings. Cost to include
prelamination of these pelmets in an appropriate white laminate as approved
by the Architect and any support required to suspend it from the ceiling . This
will also have long continuous cut-outs for Return Air as per HVAC
consultants Dwgs. All laminates to be of Merino/ Greenlam certified(IS
2046:1995, FSC, Green gaurd)

General and mandatory :


1.All wooden members to be well seasoned and knot free

Cost of the same shall not be claimed extra.

4.1 Door Frame with Architrave


Providing, making and fixing in position selected well seasoned Wood in
frames size 150 x 50mm with Architrave of doors made to size, shape and
design as shown in drawing, with mitred joints fixed with 40x3mm M.S. flat 8
nos hold fast embedding with brick wall or by approved dash fastener in
contact with RCC / Brick Work as directed including making necessary
grooves, chamfering etc. including applying water proof wood primer with
termite on concealed surfaces, laquered polish finish in desired shade of
approved as per specification etc. complete as per detailed drawings.

5.1 POP Punning on Walls - 8-12mm Thick

Unloading, Expenses for Labour, for all heights, depths, levels, leads and lifts, Sqm 3202.00

5.2 PU PAINT

Providing and applying PU High Gloss paint finish of approved make.


Providing and applying a uniform 0.3mm (+/- 0.25mm) thick glossy finish.
Rate to include the application of Wood pre-treatment in terms of putty
application and Sanding process.

of primer. The paint to be of approved shade, complete as per manufacturers
specifications, drawing & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
