MAIN ACTIVITIES

KJKP “Rad” is a company existing in the city of Sarajevo.

It’s main activities are public utilities:
► collecting, transport, disposal and recycling of waste
► maintenance of the city landfill
► cleaning and washing of public areas
► continual education all the categories of the citizens
► maintenance, reconstruction and construction of the city
streets
► managing the public parking areas and garages
► removing snow from public areas in winter period

KJKP "RAD" peforms:

Removing snow from public areas in winter period

KJKP “Rad” removes snow

from public areas in winter
period, all according to the
program made by Ministry of
Transport and Communications
of Canton Sarajevo.
 For these activities the Winter
Service uses special vehicles,
mashines and large trucks with
attachments (snowploughs).

Recycling

Special containers of
1100 l of capacity
intended for the selective
collection of waste
paper/cardboard and
plastics are placed in the
Mojmilo settlement.

240 l plastic blue, yellow

and black wheeled
recycling bins to collect
paper, PET, and other
unsorted waste, are
provided for the residents
of two city settlements.

40 ton pressure, 10
ton/day capacity.

Ecological Education
 The projects were realized in primary schools
in Canton Sarajevo. It’s a combination of
lecturing, visiting the Sarajevo landfill,
competing in technical solutions and literary
essays about waste, collecting of used paper,
making books of environmental rules, various
activities on cleaning and arranging of school-
yards and picnic areas etc.

During the project the children were obliged to take

extra care of cleanness at schools.
