Start By:

A. Remove the cab.


B. Remove the center drive shaft.
C. Separate the steering frame lock.

When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure
that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated
capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or
exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of
the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could
result in personal injury or death.

1. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to
Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".

2. Disconnect hose assembly (2) from fixed axle (1) .

3. Disconnect hose assembly (3). Remove bolt (4), washer, and clip. Disconnect harness assembly
(5) .

4. Remove bolt (6) and pin assembly (7). Position steering cylinder (8) away from the loader
frame. Repeat for the remaining steering cylinder.

5. Position Tooling (A) under the rear frame.

6. Position suitable cribbing under the front of the rear frame.

7. Remove sensor (10) and light assemblies (9) .

8. Remove bolt (11). Repeat on the other side of the loader frame.

9. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the loader frame.

10. Remove bolts (12) and (13) .

11. Remove lower hitch mount plate (14) and shims (15) .

12. Use Tooling (F) in order to remove pin (16) .

Note: Use the suitable lifting device in order to relieve pressure from pin (16) during removal.

13. Remove lower spacer (17) from the lower hitch.

14. Remove bolt (18) and the washer from pin assembly (19) .

15. Use Tooling (F) in order to remove pin assembly (19) from the upper hitch.

Note: Use a suitable lifting device in order to relieve pressure from pin assembly (19) during
removal.

16. Use a suitable lift truck and the suitable lifting device in order to separate the loader frame from
the rear frame. Use suitable cribbing in order to support the loader frame and the rear frame.

17. Mark the position of upper cap (21). Remove bolts (20), the washers, and upper cap (21) from
the upper hitch.

18. Mark the radial position of lower cap (22). Remove lower cap (22) from the upper hitch.

19. Remove shims (23) .

20. Use Tooling (C) in order to remove the bearing cups and the bearing cones from the upper hitch
of the front loader frame.

21. Remove lip seal (24) from upper cap (21) .

22. Remove lip seal (25) from lower cap (22) .

23. Use Tooling (D) in order to remove lower sleeve bearing (26) from the upper hitch of the rear
frame.

24. Use Tooling (D) in order to remove upper sleeve bearing (27) from the upper hitch of the rear
frame.

25. Remove upper spacer (28) .

26. Mark the radial position of upper cap (30) and lower cap (31). Remove bolts (29), the washers,
upper cap (30), and lower cap (31) from the lower hitch.

27. Remove shims (32) .

28. Remove lip seal (33) from upper cap (30) .

29. Remove lip seal (34) from lower cap (31) .

30. Use Tooling (E) in order to remove the bearing cups and the bearing cones from the lower
hitch.
