The movie is about the revenge of Libby, the woman wrongfully accused and convicted for killing her husband. It turns put that her husband made the plan to frame her. Libby was a primary suspect because she was present at the time her husband died and also she has strong motive to do so. The movie showed how Libby, with the help of her friends, makes use of the law to seek revenge. It is the double jeopardy law which is one of the rights of the accused.
2.) Do you like everything in the story?
Yes, I was inspired by Libby’s determination to be reunited with her son. I also liked how the parole officer helped Libby in the end and promised to help her to be fully pardoned.
3.) Do you like the resolution in the movie?
Yes, for me it was good that in the end Libby, made Nick choose whether to die or to surrender to the police. I thought she will kill him immediately. And I also like it that Libby is finally reunited with her son Matty.
4.) What is the moral lesson of the story?
The moral lesson of the story is to be determined, persevere and not to give up, as show how Libby survived the prison. In terms of the legal aspect, it also taught us the right of the accused and how the accused cant be punished twice for the same crime.
