Pridevi idu pre imenice (A nice girl)
Ne menjaju se u množini (Nice girls, a ne nices girls)
Možemo ih koristiti posle glagola “BE” bez imenice (she is nice = ona je fina)
Koristimo priloge kao što su QUITE i VERY da ih pojačamo

Na jednosložne (kratke) Ispred jednosložnih prideva
prideve dodajemo nastavak – stavljamo član THE i
er. Pravila pisanja su ista kao dodajemo nastavak –est.
za dodatak –ed kod glagola.
beautiful more beautiful the most beautiful
Ispred višesložnih prideva Ispred višesložnih prideva
stavljamo reč “more” da označi stavljamo “the most” da
komparativ i ne dodajemo –er. označi komparativ i ne
dodajemo –est.
