Work and Travel program?

 Who will be your host employer in the U.S.?

 Who will be your J-1 Summer Work Travel sponsor in the U.S.? Do
you understand that your sponsor must know where you are at all
times?

 Describe to me what you think your work program will be like every
week and what you are expecting?

 Do you understand that you are expected to report to and work for
your host employer for the duration of your program? Do you
understand that some weeks the hours may be less than the average
stated on your work agreement? How do you feel about that?

 Do you understand that you are not applying for a tourist visa and you
are expected to work while you are in the US?

 Do you understand that this is a cultural exchange program and not a


money making program? Do you understand that you may only earn
enough money to pay for your expenses while in the US and may not
recover your costs to come to the US? How do you feel about that?

 What are some of the cultural activities you would like to participate in
while you are in the U.S.?

 We will send you many program materials regarding every aspect of


your program. Do you understand that you are responsible for
reading all of your program materials before you arrive in the U.S.?

 What worries you the most about living and working in the US? What
are you most excited about in regards to living and working in the US?
