Feminism is a word which has become so frequently used in the common parlance.

The
movement has gone through several waves of changes. This work will deal with the concept of
post feminism and the movements that are taking place in the present world. Every coin has two
sides. Feminism inspire women to stand up for themselves but at the same time it has lost its
direction. The idea of feminism was to attain equal rights for men and women, to uplift the
position of women in the society and demand freedom from the chains of a patriarchal society.
But is the same these days? Feminism has been radicalized and exaggerated to a point where the
line between the two genders starts to blur. Further the paper will also delve into the concept
known as "feminazis" or the radical feminists. The main research of this paper relates to the
third-wave of feminism and the post feminism movements.

The research method used in the study of the project is completely doctrinal i.e. the information
collected are based on library books and even relying upon the available internet sources for the
latest scenarios. The topic has been theoretically analyzed in light of historical as well as recent
concepts. It primarily makes use of secondary sources from authoritative books, journals and
other inputs.
Feminism was started as a movement in the late 1900s and aimed at seeking equal rights and
opportunities for women in economic, legal and political arenas. The first and the second waves
of feminism sought to achieve gender equality. The purpose was not to abolish femininity or put
men's rights to suspension. The movement has gone through several waves of changes and
has lost its direction. The idea of feminism was to attain equal rights for men and women, to
uplift the position of women in the society and demand freedom from the chains of a patriarchal
society. But is the same these days? Feminism has been radicalized and exaggerated to a point
where the line between the two genders starts to blur. We need to understand and accept that
in some aspects men will always differ from women. We also need to understand that women
do not have to masculinize themselves or trash their identity to be at par with men
