THANK YOU!
On Friday, February 15, the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) held a press conference to
announce the protection of 234 acres (95 hectares) in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, thanks to major
contributions from committed donors, the provincial and federal governments. These lands are part
of a group of protected natural environments in the Lac Brûlé area of the Laurentians, which total
743 acres (301 hectares). Learn more here.

Despite a winter storm that made driving conditions difficult, close

to 50 people attended to celebrate the announcement, inspired by
the legacy of the late William Oliver and the first land he has
preserved.

On behalf of the entire NCC team, thank you to our many

partners and donors who support our mission!
