the CONTRACT apply to this SUBCONTRACT AGREEMENT, every provision of the CONTRACT
shall have exactly the same meaning and interpretation as is ultimately determined
to apply as a result of COMPANY decision, agreement between COMPANY and MAIN
CONTRACTOR, arbitration or governmental directive of judicial process, provided
that MAIN CONTRACTOR shall not enter into any agreement with COMPANY concerning the
application, meaning or interpretation of any provision of the CONTRACT without
the consent of SUBCONTRACTOR, if such agreement pertains exclusively to the
application, meaning or interpretation of such provision in respect of the
SUBCONTRACT SCOPE OF WORK only.

In connection with the performance of the SUBCONTRACT SCOPE OF WORK, SUBCONTRACTOR

shall operate and shall have the status of an independent SUBCONTRACTOR.
a) None of the provisions of the SUBCONTRACT AGREEMENT shall be construed as
establishing or creating a relationship of master and servant, principal and agent,
partnership or joint venture between MAIN CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR.
b) Attendance with and participation of SUBCONTRACTOR (will attend but will
assume FENOG staff status and would highlight action points to MAIN CONTRACTOR
prior to meeting) in any and all Contract discussions and negotiations with COMPANY
in regard to the SUBCONTRACT SCOPE OF WORK.
c) Attendance with and participation of SUBCONTRACTOR (will attend but will
assume FENOG staff status) in any and all Progress Meetings with the COMPANY in as
far as it relates to or affects the SUBCONTRACT SCOPE OF WORK.
d) The PARTIES shall not be liable towards each other for any indirect and
consequential loss or damages of any kind, nor for loss of revenues, loss of
profit, loss of production, loss of contracts, loss of business or business
interruption and the like in any manner or form arising from the execution of the
SUBCONTRACT AGREEMENT under any theory of law;
e) Each PARTY (the "Indemnifying PARTY) shall keep the other PARTY indemnified
from any claim in respect of bodily injury to or death of the Indemnifying PARTYs

shall be fixed and firm for the duration of the SUBCONTRACT AGREEMENT
SUBCONTRACTOR acknowledges that unless and until COMPANY acknowledges the existence
of any event, including any variation or change to any part of the SUBCONTRACT
SCOPE OF WORK, for which it is prepared to compensate MAIN CONTRACTOR, then
SUBCONTRACTOR shall have no valid claim(s) against MAIN CONTRACTOR on account of
any delay in receipt of such associated payment, delay or disruption to its planned
progress of work, work stoppages and/or changes or variations to the SUBCONTRACT
SCOPE OF WORK or to conditions of performance of the Work, unless and to the extent
only:

3.4. Combined Load Cases

The basic loads as given from pipe stress analysis auto combined using Bs 5950 from
STAAD auto combination to give the most onerous loading combination for design .
The ultimate limit state (GEO) load combination was used for sizing the base,
checking the limiting pressures as well as overturning resistance. The ultimate
limit state (STR) was used for the design of the foundation for resistance against
bending, shear and punching.
4. ANALYSIS / DESIGN CALCULATION
The analysis / design calculations were carried out according to the procedures
given in the reference codes and standards. The limit state design approach was
used to perform the design. Adequate steel sections and footing sizes were provided
based on the maximum forces and moments obtained in line with the requirements of
relevant codes and standards.
Reliable information of the of the manifold loading and footprint were
provided for the design.
Reliable sub-soil information and laboratory results are provided for design.
Execution is carried out according to the relevant standards and
specifications by personnel having appropriate skills and experience.
Construction materials and products are used as specified in the relevant
material specifications.
The structure will be for the purpose for which it was designed. The limit
state design approach was used to perform the design. Adequate reinforcement, steel
and concrete member sizes were provided based on the maximum forces and moments
obtained.

1.5. Assumptions
Several assumptions were made while performing the design, they include assumption
that:
