The most intensive application that will be run on college computer is Photoshop, it is an image editing
software that means it will require a separate graphics card or a processor with one that is integrated
with it and that is capable of running the software, Virtual machine, Adobe Illustrator and Dreamweaver
all require less processing power than Photoshop, therefore if the system will have good enough
specification so that it is capable of running it, other software will also be able to run on that system.

I have chosen HP All in One PC, because considering its impressive processing power it is relatively cheap. It has 4GB of fast
DDR4 memory, which is enough to run even the most intensive applications required by the college. It is compatible with
number of networking features, including it also supports wireless connection and different types of servers. It has a 21.5” high
definition display which should be more than enough for the students and staff to complete tasks, involving graphic or web
design and other. The unit also comes with keyboard and a mouse included, which will be cheaper than if the college has to by
these peripherals separately.
OS choice

I have chosen Windows as the operating system that will room on chosen hardware. One of the reasons I chose windows is
because it holds the largest market share when compared to other desktop OSes, as of 2018, this can be seen on the graph
above. Due to this it is also already supplied with the chosen computer, it also means that it will be compatible with the widest
range of applications and programs, including web browsers, for example for web design testing, compared to other operating

college’s resources and data, it has various security procedures in place such as, Microsoft regularly releases security updates
for windows, both server and clients. It comes with antimalware and antispyware software pre-installed in a form of Windows
Defender. It allows for administrative control of data storage, applications on college network. Windows also is widely
accessible to students, as most would have probably used it before at home, or on other occasion due to its wide spread. This
means that most will be familiar with it and won’t require any help using it. Windows also offers features such as narrator text
to speech, virtual assistance using Cortana, magnifier, and other features for user who might have trouble using the computer.

I recommend MS Office software package, its contents include word processing software, desktop publish software,
presentation software and much more software appropriate for office and administrative work. Its pricing is fairly inexpensive
for its contents. Chosen by me hardware should not find any trouble running even the most resource intensive application from
the package. Another reason to choose this software packets is that it includes 30 days trail for all the devices, after the trail
ends college may choose a plan they wish to pay for, some even including as much as terabytes if additional cloud storage for
each users data and files.

For web development I would recommend Adobe Dreamweaver. It can be paid for with a plan that includes both Dreamweaver
and other Adobe CS software package applications, which makes it relatively in expensive. Dreamweaver provides most of the
tools needed for web development, including support for wide range of language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and more. Its other
features include syntax highlighting, user can set a theme, for example dark to reduce eye strain or light for work outside. It
also offer the user to look how their site changes live with code, etc. it has all of the functionality students and staff will need
for web development, it will run without any trouble on recommended by me hardware and can be tested 30 days for free to
see if it suits college’s needs.

The package includes other programs required by the college, such as Adobe Photoshop, for image editing, this program offers
wide range of tools needed for professional image editing, it is also very resource heavy, but recommended by me hardware
should run it without trouble, as mentioned it comes includes into Creative Suite Package, so its costs is suited to what it offers,
