Greetings in St. La Salle!

As the duly-elected representatives of the De La Salle University College of Law student body, one of the duties of
the Law Student Government (LSG) is to ensure that the students are provided with several avenues in order for
them to develop holistically, not only focusing on academics but also in other aspects that will aid them as future
lawyers. With this, we would like to conduct a Year-End Thanksgiving party entitled Mandamus.

Recognizing the rigors of law school, Mandamus aims to create an outlet for the students to be able to release the
stress that they have experienced throughout the academic year. This will also foster a sense of community not only
among the students but with the faculty, the staff, and with the administration as well. Furthermore, the event seeks
to strengthen the network of the students by interacting with the alumni and the faculty who are doing exemplary
work in their chosen legal field.

Based on the quotation from the suppliers, the budget for the event will be at P150,000 which will cover the venue
rental, food, drinks, sound system, and other logistical materials. Given the other activities that we intend to
conduct, the LSG can only allot P80,000 from its budget for this event.

In this regard, we are humbly requesting your assistance in the amount of P70,000 to make this event possible. Rest
assured that we will provide the necessary liquidation and other post-activity reports that you require of us.
