PROCEDURE
Introduction Time

 Remember when we talked about giving thanks? Like the cards we made for the soldiers?
 What does it mean to give thanks? _20minutes
 Now we will be making Christmas cards for our parents ! :)

Body Time

 The teacher will introduce the art activity ( Santa cards for the parents)
 The teacher will talk through the steps with the students
 The teacher will have the students start their independent art activity and the teacher

will turn the music on for the class to calmly work on their art pieces.

For students who are done early :
Color, read and draw

Closure Time

 At this point when the 30 minutes are done the teacher will have the students clean and
place their mess.
 When students are done they are able to read alone, draw or color quietly. 10 minutes
