1. This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis West and will be conducted under the present Rules of Tennis and
the Rules and Regulations of the Lawn Tennis Association of Australia and Western Australia. The Tennis West
Code for tennis attire will apply. No entry will be accepted from any player who is not a member of a club or
association affiliated with Tennis West.
2. The Tennis Code of Conduct and Tennis West Behavior Code shall apply and will be displayed at the courts for
the perusal by competitors - penalties may be imposed under both or either codes. Play will be continuous in
all sets matches i.e. There will be no 10 minute break in a match standing at 1 set all. The only exception will be
as the Referee, at his discretion, may approve. No one may advise a competitor during the playing of a match
except at an official break.
3. The Committee has the entire management of the Tournament. It also reserves the right to:
(a) Re-allocate a player’s nominated grade where necessary for tournament reasons
(b) Cancel or amalgamate events for which there are insufficient entries and to divide any event into grades
should the number of entries warrant such an action.
(c) Use hard courts to facilitate the completion of the tournament (Non AR Points events only.)
4. A sanction fee of $5 per player is included in the Entry Fees.
5. Entrants for Junior events must obey the junior policy of the Geraldton Tennis Club, “No Hat - No Play”
6. Play will begin each day at the advertised starting time. Competitors must be at the courts and ready to play at
the time fixed, irrespective of weather conditions. Penalties, at the discretion of the Committee, may apply for
late check in. Check in 15 minutes prior to match.
7. The Full Draws and Schedule of Play will be available by 8pm Tuesday April 16th.
8. Matches in AMT Qualifying will commence as early as 9am Friday April 19th. Matches in the Mixed Doubles &
Selected Junior Events will commence No Later than 12 noon Friday April 19th.
9. No player may enter more than three (3) events, and No Player may enter more than one Mixed Doubles event.
10. Entrants in Junior and Seniors events must be the specified age as at April 30th 2018.
11. (a) Championship Singles events shall be the best of three twelve point tiebreak sets.
(b) Championship Doubles & Consolation Singles shall be the best of two sets with a Match tiebreak if a set all.
(c) 18’s and AMT Doubles will be played using the No-Ad Scoring system.
(d) Round Robin events shall be one “pro set” – One set to 9 with an 8 all tiebreak.
(e) 10 & Under Green Ball events will be played using the Fast4 scoring format. More at www.fast4.com
12. (a) Fees must be paid at time of entry. Posted & Emailed entries - Please post or transfer your entry fees.
(b) Online Entries require Credit Card Payment. Entries without Online payment will be accepted at the
discretion of the Tournament Director.
Stripe Online Registration may also charge a small processing fee in addition to the Tournament Entry Fees.
(c) Payments may also be made direct into the Geraldton Tennis Club account,
BSB 633-000 Account Number 146987896. Please use Easter and your name as the Narration.
13. (a) Men’s & Ladies Open Singles & Doubles – Australian Money Tournament Silver Series Points. In the case of
small draws prize money may be proportionally reduced in line with AMT regulations available at www.tennis.com.au
(b) Boy’s and Girl’s 18 and Under Singles and Doubles – Junior Tour Bronze Series Points.
14. Publicity Statement – Photographs and video footage will be used to promote the tournament for publicity
purposes without compensation. Please inform the Tournament Director in writing before the tournament if you
do not want your photo published.
