WHO ARE WE .. ?

Youth Acedemy is an association made by the


gathering of students, from different
professional and academic background, in
order to fulfill a positive change in the society
to which they belong.
We believe that it’s time for us to capitalize our
experience in coaching, event managing and
employment to help the rest of the society
believing in the wise man who said : you’re not
great when the people around you say you’re
great, you only are great when you make all
the people around you great.

Goals :
 Emprove eployment in Morocco and Enhance engineers chances in
finding the appropriate job.
 Provide the graduates with the necessary tools, skills and knowledge
to succes their professional career.
 Help young people to achieve their goals in Entrepreneurship,
activisme and voluteering.
 Create a national and an international brand of students with high
level of skills and capaciti es.

What Is Soft Student :
Problem :
Now and more than ever, recruiters describe their needs in engineers
focusing on the personal side, more than the technical side, that side is
represented by what is called : Soft Skills, they are the personality traits and
interpersonal skills that directly affect our relationships with other people.
They stem from who we are and how we interact with the world around us.
Due to our educational system : students, especialy engineers don’t have the
time or the will to define what soft skills they really need or how to develop
them within their personality, which put them in a hard situation in front
of t he recruiter in order to prove their worthiness of the job.

Solution :
Soft Student, is an intensive program dedicated to coach and teach the
recent graduated students(engineers, and Master) about the main soft skills
they need to have in order to convince the recruiters about their ability and
capacity to do the job, and assume the responsibility in the best terms.
These soft skills are :

 Leadership  Self Confidence


 Team Work  Dialectic
 Communication  Decision making
 Emotional intelligence  Stress Management
 Conflict resolution  Critical Thinking
 Personal efficiency  Self Awarness

Having these soft skills would decrease the chance of a candidate in having
a job up to 80%, as for the rest 20% is left of his/her hard and liguistic
skills.
How do we plan to do the boot camp :
Soft Students is basically 4 different events :
kick off Conference : where a professional speaker like : Peter Svenneby,
a Soft Skills expert and the founder of www.syntuity.com will talk and
present the importance about the soft skills in the professional field.
Boot camp : of 15 days where 12 days of coaching and training and 3 days
for transportation and team building activities.
for each of the 12 skills we set above : there will an evaluation, before and
after the workshop.
Entreprise – Candidates Meeting : Where our selected candidates will
pass interviews with companies to have a paid intenship.
Closing Ceremony : The candidates will present the projects on which
they worked and what added value they had toward the company.
At the end of Soft Students, Students will be given certificates of
participation in the boot camp, a professional folder containing all the soft
skills they were trained on and how much they developed themselves during
the boot camp.
