Use of electrical lugs is compulsory for all electrical termination (Power & control)
Outdoor Units:
3 phase power supply (50 Hz, 380-415 Volts strictly) for each outdoor unit module irrespective of the
combination. (Please see diagram)
Details of cable, MCCB and Earthing for outdoor units are as under.

Indoor Units:
Each indoor unit, irrespective of type, requires single phase power supply (230 Volts, 50 Hz) with MCB and 3 pin
socket near indoor unit (3C x 2.5sqmm Cu cable) with earthing.
MCB Rating:
Upto 2.5TR – 10Amps
3TR to 8.0TR – 15Amps
1. Power supply wiring shall run in 25mm hard / flexible PVC conduit.
2. There shall not be any joints between two units.
3. Electrical lugs must be used for termination.
Note that all terminations are suitable for Copper cable only. Aluminum cable shall not be used.
C) Control Cabling
1 Control/ Communication wiring shall run in 25mm Hard/ flexible PVC conduit with blue marking at interval
of 1.5m for differentiating it with other cabling at site.
2 There shall not be any joints between two units.
3 Electrical lugs must be used for termination.
1. For cabling between indoor to corded remote or indoor to sensor 2C x1 sqmm copper cable shall be used.
2. Cabling shall be concealed in wall through 25mm PVC conduit.

Toshiba Equipments must be protected from unhealthy power supply due to voltage fluctuation, surge etc.
1. Voltage Stabilizers: It shall be used when Air conditioning is required without any interruption even if there
is fluctuation in voltage.
2. Voltage Scanners: It shall be used when disruption in Air conditioning due to voltage fluctuation is
acceptable while the protection of equipment is important.
