I.Introduction

Based on our observation, tricycle drivers on Wesleyan University these

days are fond of collecting large amounts of fare, knowing that we are just
students who still ask for money from our parents or guardians. They just have
this “Sa Wesleyan nag-aaral yan, mayaman yan” mentality which pushes them to
their motive to ask for a very large amount of fare.

As a student, we cannot tolerate this kind of behavior because not all the
students of this university is living with an abundant life, some are just working so
hard to provide for their academic needs and even though some are in the
middle class of living, it’s not right to abuse students who can afford to pay high
amounts of fare.

We are just fighting for what is right and fair. We are just students. A fare
to be issued must be fair to everyone. Money is earned not by asking for a higher
fee, but for rendering your services right and asking for an exact and right value.
II.Body

a.) Description of the Location

They are well-oraganized in terms of rules in clothing, based on our

observation. They also acknowledge proper coding and does not permit drivers
to go along if they are not wearing the coding for the day.

b.) Purpose of Location

To give awareness to the over-pricing system of Wesleyan Toda and to

demand actions from our university to make the system fair and better to each
and everyone.

c.) Overall Impression

Drivers nowadays are consistent in over-pricing because we don’t give it

much attention. They consider wesleyanians as rich and can afford anything in
life. That mentality provokes them to ask for a much higher cost.

d.) Problems

The high-pricing system of Wesleyan Toda

e.) Proposed Solution

The school must issue a list of fares based on the location which is in
general, is fair and unquestionable. The benefit must be experienced by both
parties and anyone who will be caught or reported collecting fare higher that what
is issued is subject to a punishment. It must be known by everyone.

f.) Conclusion

Many of the students choose not to take tricycles from our toda because
of the price and honestly speaking, it’s a burden for all of us. The betterment of
the school includes the betterment of the tricycle drivers. It deserves to be given
attention because as long as we are not recognizing it, it means that we are
tolerating them to earn money improperly. Money means so much to everyone,
yes. We better spend it and ask for it fairly and correctly.
