When the release signal to section valve is given by the Fire Control panel, the valve opens, the

pressure decreases, and the hydraulic release valves of the 1st bank opens (17 b) and then the slave
valves of the 1st bank open. The pumping action begins giving 90 bar pressures to the nozzles.
When the gas pressure from the 1st bank decreased (70 b ), the delta-p valves of the 2nd bank is
released and the slave valves of the 2nd bank open. The pumping action stops when gas pressure is
no more available, or when isolating valve is closed manually a signal by position switch is given to
the Fire Control panel (during stand-by of the gas turbine for maintenance).
Water mist fire protection system release can be mechanically inhibited at the manual isolation
valve(s) from the water mist container.
Air cylinders (TPED) for functional test during 2 minutes per area.
GE in standard provide two (2) cylinders (one per GPU), and tank will be partial refilling of 325 liters
after the test on Site.

8.2.2 Generator Accessories

The generator is furnished with an integrated package of accessories designed to provide trouble
free operation and monitoring of the generator and related systems. The various systems and
devices included as part of this proposal are summarized below.
