Product Sika -Waterbars* are flexible, soft PVC-Waterstops that seal construction and

Installation on the surface of the formwork or on the surface of the base/dry
lean concrete.

Welding
®
Sika -Waterbars* are made from high quality thermoplastic PVC and can
therefore be welded easily. The ends are secured in a welding jig (available
for each type) and heated with suitable welding equipment (also available),
until an even, molten bead of PVC appears. The welding equipment is then
removed and the molten ends pressed together firmly.
The welding temperature is approximately +200°C.

Notes on Application / In case of negative water pressure surface waterstops cannot be used.
