State the meaning of environmental signs on Traffic Safety.

A. Preparatory Activities

1. Drill- Antonyms
Match the opposite of each picture presented.

2. Review
1. What are the characters of a good child?
2. Ask for a volunteer to act the things out that a good child can do.

3. Motivation
Singing an action song
“Beep, Gamay nga Jeep” (Tune: Beep, Beep the Small Jeep)
a. Teacher will ask questions about the song.
b. What signs have you seen on the road?

B. LESSON PROPER

1. Presentation
a. Show the improvised Traffic Lights.
b. Display a collage of traffic signs.
c. Let the pupils identify and describe the signs.

2. Activity
a. Setting of standards
b. Group the pupils into three.
Group I- Identify and write the meaning of the given signs.
Group II- Match the traffic sign to its meaning.
Group III- Draw three traffic signs in a creative way.

3. Analysis
a. How do you find the activity?
b. Do you think these signs are important? Why?
c. What will happen if we will not follow these traffic signs?

4. Abstraction
Environmental signs on traffic safety are important to avoid accidents. Moreover, these will give public
information about the meaning of certain traffic signs along the road.

5. Application
Simple Recall Game
All the different traffic signs are being posted in the room.
When the teacher says the signage, the pupils
will walk slowly and flock to the mentioned sign.
If they have made it correctly, they will be given a reward.

IV. EVALUATION
Match each traffic sign to its meaning. Then connect it with a line.
