M.Eng., Industrial Engineering (2010)
Texas A&M University, College Station, TX
Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) Fellow
Focus Area: Reliability & Stochastic Processes
Experience with SwRI has included six years as the Operations Team Lead for the Ion Neutral Mass
Spectrometer (INMS) instrument on the Cassini spacecraft, which orbited Saturn from 2004-2017, and two
years leading the operations planning process for the MAss Spectrometer for Planetary EXploration (MASPEX)
instrument that will be part of the Europa Clipper mission scheduled to launch in 2023.
Intel Corporation
Chandler, AZ
Industrial Engineer/Intern, Decision Engineering Group (2010)
Experience at Intel Corporation utilized Bayesian forecasting to improve prediction of key dates in new product
development and deployment.
Responsibilities included:
- Gathering product, defect, process, and schedule data from groups throughout the corporation,
- Generating predictive model for development and release schedules,
- Presenting results and providing recommendations for improving accuracy of these methods,
- Conducting a literature review on the use and interaction of analytics and intuition in decision-making.
Independent research investigating and implementing numerous statistical approaches to analyze team
communication data for interaction patterns that lead to increased effectiveness and efficiency when
performing a problem-solving task. Presented research at operations research and human factors conferences.
