I am directed to refer to the letter dated Nil d to the power point

presentation made by your Section 8 Compa representatives on
26,09.2017 in this Directorate and to state that th Director General of
Shipping has accorded "In Principle Approval", to en you to start work
on the infrastructure and other training facilities fo conduct of post-sea
Course in your institute at AIMS Maritime Acade , 1 0 0 1 & 1 0 0 2 , 1 0 f r
floor, Concorde Sector 11, CBD Belapur, Navi Mum - 400 614 as per
D G S O r d e r N o . So f 2 O L 6 ,

2. The Institute would be required to comply wi the requirementsas

prescribed under the above said DGS order and r relevant Training
Circular / guidelines pertaining to the respective co rse. It may be noted
that final approvalto conduct the coursesin the Insti te, will dependupon
the successfulinspection of the facilities by MMD nd final approval by
DirectorateGeneralof Shipping.

3. The Trust/Society/Section g Company i responsible for the

authenticity of the registered LeaseAgreement su itted vide their letters
under reference.Any discrepancyand/or false dec ration by the institute/
trust/society/Section 25 Company observed lat r, will be liable for
withdrawal of approval granted to the institute with i mediate effect.

4. The in-principle approvalshould not be co d to mean acceptance

of the documents submitted so far and that the inal approval shall be
granted only after complete adherence to the D.G. ipping guidelines and
inspection report. It needs to be noted that this 'in- ciple approval'would
be valid for a maximum period of two years but six I nthly report needs
to
be submitted to this Directorate about the progre made, The institute
would need to comply with all the guidelines, have already been
promulgated by this Directorate and those to be pro ulgated subsequent to
