 Parte II: Essay: “Cuando era niño…”

 Parte III: Essay: American family culture vs. Mexican family

culture

You must complete all 3 parts to get full credit!

Parte I:

Pick 5 people, either family members or friends, to include in your

family album. You must have one page describing each person. I
expect you to use complete sentences in Spanish!! For each person
you must include the following things:

a photo or self-drawn picture (optional)

their name

their relationship to you

how old they are

where they’re from

physical appearance

personality traits

Parte II:

This part of the project is a re-written, final draft of the Unit 3 Writing
Workshop essay. As described in the writing workshop your essay
should be about things you used to do when you were little and who
you did those things with. It must include:

 At least 75 words

10 different conjugated verbs (AR, ER or IR)

5 different family members

The imperfect tense AND the preterit tense

Parte III:

Write a 3-paragraph, well organized essay comparing cultural

practices of American families with cultural practices of Mexican
families. What are some similarities and differences? Use the Venn
Diagram we created as a class on Monday, October 19 to help you with
this part of the project.

size 12

• 5 points will be deducted for every day late. No projects will be

accepted after Wed October 28!!

assignment is plagiarized, the entire project will receive a ZERO! This
is non-negotiable.
