Donald Bavis
Donald Bavis is currently the superintendent of the Marion Central School District and has served in that
position since January 2016. Prior to that, Bavis was a principal in the Penfield Central School District, as
well as the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District. Before becoming a principal, he served as the district
coordinator of special education, and as a school psychologist for the Palmyra-Macedon Central School
District.

Bavis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, a Master of Science and Certificate of
Advanced Studies in School Psychology from SUNY Oswego, and an additional Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational
Administration from the College at Brockport. He and his wife Terri, the superintendent of the Waterloo Central School District,
live in Victor and have four children.

Christopher Dailey
Christopher Dailey is currently the superintendent of the Batavia City School District. Dailey taught middle
and high school social studies while also coaching athletic teams to league, sectional and state honors. His
administrative career started with the completion of an internship and being department chairperson at
Twelve Corners Middle School in Brighton. He then served as an assistant principal at Churchville-Chili High
School before becoming high school principal in Batavia. He was soon promoted by the Board of Education to
deputy superintendent before taking over as superintendent in January 2013.
Dailey has a Bachelor of Arts in History/Secondary Education from SUNY Geneseo. He earned a Master of
Arts in Liberal Studies and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Education Administration from the College
at Brockport. He possesses both New York State Permanent School District Administrator (SDA) Certification and Permanent
Certification for Social Studies Teaching (7-12). Dailey is a Board Member of the Genesee County Business Education Alliance,
New York State Association of Small City School Districts, and served on the NYSED ESSA Think Tank representing W-FL,
Monroe One, Monroe 2-Orleans and GVEP superintendents.

Ty Zinkiewich
Ty Zinkiewich is the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction for the Spencerport Central School District,
where he has held this position since July 2011. Previously, Zinkiewich served as the Spencerport High School
principal for six years. Before that, he was the Jr./Sr. High School principal in Kendall and worked as assistant
principal at Greece Odyssey Academy. He began his career as a science teacher in 1995 in the Greece Central
School District.
Zinkiewich earned his Bachelor of Science from McMaster University located in Hamilton, Ontario and
teaching certification through St. Bonaventure University. He earned his Master of Educational Leadership
from Canisius College and completed the New York State Superintendent Development Program at SUNY
Oswego. Zinkiewich currently serves on the Urban-Suburban Governance Board and as a trustee on the NYS Chapter of the
National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME). He also works as a guest lecturer for leadership courses at SUNY
Oswego, the College at Brockport, and the University of Rochester. Currently, Zinkiewich volunteers as a hockey coach for a variety
of programs, schools and teams.
