Part 1: Motivation, Emotion, and Stress Prompts
1. What skill would you like to master and why?
2. What takes up too much of your time?
3. What are the small things that make your day better?
4. How do you relax after a hard day of work?
5. What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
6. What’s the best way to start the day?
7. What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?
8. What are some things you’ve had to unlearn?
9. What is something you are certain you’ll never experience?
10. What would you do if you knew you were going to die in an hour?

Rationale
To get in touch with the client’s unconscious mind, we have made questions to reveal
some things that a normal survey couldn’t. There are three factors that we want to know
about a potential partner: their motivations, emotions, and stress. For example, question
1 asks what skill would someone like to master and why, according to the a rousal
theory this will tell what a person’s m otives are and what actions they would perform in
order to achieve their goal. It’ll also show to what extent they would do to maintain
arousal. For emotion, question 3 may reveal how someone can c ontrol their e xpressions
of emotions. By knowing what things can make them happy and using those things,
shows that they have e motional intelligence b ecause they’re aware of their emotions
and how to handle those feelings. Lastly, question 4 shows how someone will handle a
day of stress after a hard day of work. This can also reveal the person’s way of
controlling their emotions. We want someone who has emotional intelligence for a
potential partner for our client so they can work a relationship out.

Part 2: Personality
1. What do you feel most proud of?
2. What’s your best childhood memory?
3. What are you most afraid of?
4. What was one of your embarrassing moments?
5. What’s one thing you’ve been wanting to do but can’t and why can’t you do it?
6. What was your favorite cartoon show as a kid?
7. If you could go back to the past, what would you do differently?
8. What do you want to be remembered for?
9. What would you advice your childhood self?
10. What’s the first thing that you would do if you win the lottery?

Rationale
To get to know a potential partner, we made questions that can reveal a person’s
personality. According to the T rait Theory, t here are big five traits that make up a
person’s personality: agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, and
neuroticism. Hans Eysenck i s a psychologist who had a theory on personality traits and
focused on extraversion and neuroticism. He said that extroverts are commonly loud
and outgoing but introverts are quiet and reserved. Question 5 can reveal if someone is
either an extrovert or introvert because it’s asking what that person has been wanting to
do but isn’t able to. If he/she has an answer, then they’re most likely an introvert
because they’ve been reserving themselves. Apart from this, we will be able to see to
what extent someone’s agreeableness is at with question 7 because it asks whether
he/she acknowledges their mistakes in the past and whether they would want to change
it or not. It’ll show how much s elf-efficacy t hat person has, it’ll show if they have
control over their own behaviors and motivations if they ever do want to go back from
the past. The questions above will show how much self-esteem a potential partner has
because it’ll reveal how confident they are with their own abilities. We want to find a
potential partner that has a good personality and know their self worth for our client.
