Magnetic Induction based secured Defense Communications using

Wireless Underground Sensor Networks(WUSN)

ABSTRACT:
Military forces are very essential part of the security system of a
country. During, wars and search operations, our soldiers get injured and
many of them become lost. Soldiers are the savior of our nation who
protects us from enemy attacks, terrorist activities and from many
suspicious activities which can harm the civilians and the nation too.
Thus, Soldiers health is very important to us. We have implemented a
project which has an ability to give commands to soldiers in real time
through secured soil communication. This system will help to secure
from the hackers, search and rescue operation efforts of army control
unit.. The data decoded from control unit through microcontroller is
transmitted wirelessly using soil underground wireless sensor network.
Also, a soldier can get help from army control room and can
communicate with other fellow soldier present within the wireless
transmission and reception range using Panic Switch in unfavorable
conditions. The wireless communication network is created by UWSN
transceivers using Magnetic induction Topology.
EXISITING METHOD

• Wireless sensor technology has been tested for agricultural land

use to improving precision agriculture (Bogena et al., 2017).

• Communication of the greenhouse wireless monitoring system was

realized through wireless sensor networks based on ZigBee (Zhang
et al., 2018).

• wireless signal attenuation of ZigBee wireless transceiver module

of the 2.44 GHz frequency was researched by using soil column in
different soil types and the water content (Bogena et al., 2018).

PROPOSED METHOD

The secured uwsn communication system includes at least one detector

module characterized by a sensor, a decoder, and a network adapter. The
detection system also includes a control module and a status indicator.
The metlal probe detects an information bearing soil signal and
communicates it to the decoder. The decoder extracts event data from
the soil signal and sends it to the microcontroller. The control module
processes the event data and stores it in a memory. The control module
also optionally downloads the stored event data to an external device.
