Related to Hotel Operation

For changing of usage of building at Department of Public Work, Bangkok

- Form Khor.3
- Copy or picture dedicating the owner of building or the possessor of building
- Consent letter from the owner of building (in case the possessor is the applicant)
- Certificate or license for changing of building usage in total of …… set (only in case the
applicant had already received the certificate or the license for changing of building usage)
- Copy of registered certificate, objectives and authorized person of the applicant which is
issued no later than six months
- Letter dedicating manager or representative who is operator of juristic person
- Area Plan, diagram and specification in total of …… set, each ……. pages
- One set of calculation in total……..pages (only in case the changing of building usage leads
to more load on building floor than being early permitted)
- Consent letter and confirming of designer and building calculator in total ……. set
including the copy or picture of license of who has License for Professional Engineer Practice
in total ……. set (in case the building having sort, size is under the Professional Engineer
Practice)
- Other documents (if any)

Fee: 20 THB
Inspection Fee: Not exceeding 4 THB/ Square meter of area plan

For construction certificate at Department of Public Work, Bangkok

- Form Khor.6
- Copy or picture dedicating the owner of building or the possessor of building
- Consent letter from the owner of building (in case the possessor is the applicant)
- Copy of registered certificate, objectives and the authorized person of the applicant which is
issued no later than six months
- Letter dedicating manager or representative who is operator of juristic person
- Copy or picture of construction license, renovation license or relocation license of building,
as the case may be.
- Confirmation letter of supervisor dedicating control of …………………. of building is in
compliance with permission.
- Other documents (if any)

Fee: 20 THB
For hotel business license (in case of juristic person) at Service Center, Department of
Provincial Administration, Ministry of Interior

- Copy of company affidavit (not late than 6 months until the filling date)
- Copy of identification card (authorized person of company)
- Power of attorney attached with stamp duty and identification card of the authorized person
(in case of giving other person to act on behalf of)
- Plan, diagram together with the lists of plan and diagram of hotel building which engineer
and architect who is given authorization to sign for acknowledgement
- Copy of certificate of ownership or documents showing land use right
- Copy of construction license (Aor.1) (in case the hotel is under the Building Control Act
B.E. 2522) (in case request for renovation or changing of building usage)
- Location of hotel
- Picture of building (in case of renovation or changing building usage)
- Report of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as approved by specialist committee

Fee related to Hotel Business License:

1. Hotel Business License Fee

1st Type 10,000 THB


Providing accommodation only, the number of rooms
does not exceed 50 rooms, each room is not less than
8 square meters

2nd Type 20,000 THB


Providing accommodation and catering or restaurant
services, the size of each room is not less than 8 square
meters

3rd Type 30,000 THB


Providing accommodation and catering or restaurant
services, which the sized of each room is not less than
14 square meters, which has either conference rooms or
entertainment venues

4th Type 40,000 THB


Providing accommodation and catering or restaurant
services, conference rooms and entertainment venues
which the size of each room is not less than 14 square
meters

Validity of License: 5 years


Renewal for License: Half rate of the first hotel business license
2. Annual Fee or Fee for Conducting Hotel Business

This fee is calculated at the rate of 80 THB per room per annum of the existing room of the
hotel

Report of EIA at Environmental Impact Evaluation Bureau, Bangkok (“Bureau”)

EIA is required for hotel having more than 80 rooms or usage area more than 4,000 square
meters or higher than 23 meters pursuant to the ministerial regulation issued by Ministry of
Natural Resources and Environment

Report of EIA shall be provided by who is approved from relevant committee in making the
report of EIA (“Consultant”) and the Consultant lists are available in the website of Bureau.

The service fee for engaging Consultant to make report of EIA is depended on the negotiation
between both parties.

The documents in which the Consultant shall submit to the Bureau as follows;

1. Brief report (not less than 15 sets)


2. Full report (not less than 15 sets) with following guidelines;
- Introduction
- Details of project
- Current environment
- Effect which may occur from the project
- Preventive measure and remedy of the environmental effect and compensation
- Monitoring measure of the environmental effect
3. Front cover and inside front cover of report of EIA as per form Sor Phor 2.
4. Certificate of providing report and the name lists of provider as per form Sor Phor 3.
5. Copy of who is eligible to make a report of EIA
