STAFF EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR SC/ST/OBC CANIDATES
FOR THE POST OF TRAINEE AME (A & C Trade)
Applications are invited from serving permanent employees of AIESL belonging to reserved
categories (SC, ST and OBC) for filling up of the following vacancies for the post of Trainee Aircraft
Maintenance Engineer (A&C Trade) under special recruitment drive for SC/ST/OBC.
QUALIFICATIONS: 7
Candidate must be holding DGCA issued Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License (BAMEL) in
the category of:
HA/PA and JE/CT or CAT ‘A’ Licence.
Anyone who has passed all the modules and applied to DGCA for grant of CAT
apply.

Upper age limit for SC /ST Candidates will be 55 years and for OBC candidates will be 53.

HOW TO APPLY
Candidates fulfilling the above requirements as on 01-02-2018 may send their applications in the
prescribed format, as attached, to Chief of Personnel, AIESL Hars, Safdarjung, New Delhi on the
email address: james.stephanose@airindia.in not later than 19 March, 2018.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
The eligible candidates would be interviewed by a selection committee to ascertain their suitability.
‘The selected candidates would retain their existing designation/s in their existing cadre till such time
they are absorbed in the cadre of Aircraft Engineer. The existing pay of the selected candidates
would be protected during the period of their acquiring the DGCA license in the category. They
would, however, continue to perform theirzexisting duties/ functions/ any other duties/functions
assigned to them in their present cadre, till the time they acquire the DGCA licence and are absorbed
in the cadre of Aircraft Engineer. The selected candidates may be posted to any station / region as
per the requirement of the company. isseare giear

The candidates would be imparted DGCA approved CAR-147 Type rated B1 training after
passing all the relevant modules or as per Company's requirement. On successful completion of the
approved training and after fulfilling the experience requirement, the candidates would be required
to appear for DGCA License examinations and, on acquiring the DGCA License in the category and on
completion of required experience, they will be absorbed in the cadre of Aircraft Maintenance
Engineer in the applicable scale of pay.
On being selected for training, the candidate has to sign a bond for an amount of Rs. 15
Lakhs for serving the Company for a minimum period of 5 years or till such time he retires whichever
is earlier. '
LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT-OF APPLICATIONS
The last date for receijt of applications through email is 19" March,2018. Applications received late
would be rejected without any reference.
Management reserves the right to add/delete/alter any of the criteria mentioned above and notify it
accordingly.
