Club workshops
working well
By Fred Jones, President

Since June, the New Horizons

Toastmasters Club has held four
workshops, small, concentrated

weekly gathering place. Two of the
workshops centered on the theme of
‘impromptu’ speaking such as Table

of effective evaluations. The fourth
was an ‘advanced speech’ workshop.
All the workshops encouraged
participants to become actively
involved. Some members were able
to give speeches; thus, sidestepping
