The conceptual framework of service quality can also be applied to health care service and is
relevant to this research study as a healthcare service requires high consumer involvement in the
consumption process; hence, the attainment of quality healthcare service relies significantly on
the co-contribution of the patient to the service delivery process.
As in this study this encounter is influenced by many other factors such communication, medical
staff skills, the technology used in the treatment and the availability of the required facilities and
equipment as proposed in the conceptual framework
