▪ To build Zero draft proposal, Heading 1 to Heading 4 must be


prepared.
▪ Headings is for the title and the sub-title of the proposal.
▪ Each Heading of the level has the same number

1. View - On Navigation Pane
2. Home – Paragraph Tab – Click Multilevel List
3. Click again Multilevel List – Define New Multilevel List
4. In the field Enter Formatting for Number – Before Number 1 –
Type Chapter (Do not delete the Number 1) - OK

TIP AND TRICK:

▪ You can create new chapter before and


after by choosing New Heading Before or
New heading After
▪ You can easily delete the unused Heading
▪ You can expand and narrow the Heading
by choosing Expand All or Collapse All

▪ To insert a “Section Break (Next Page)”:

section/chapter.
▪ In the Page Setup dialog box, click ‘Breaks’
▪ Then click “Next Page”

Insert Page Numbers

Follow these simple steps to insert page number:

1. Put your cursor on Insert tab and click Page Number on the
Header & Footer group.

2. You can choose the style of page number such as Top of


Page or Bottom of Page, and then pick a style in the gallery. MS
Word automatically numbers every page.

3. When you’re done, click Close Header and Footer.
